this guide will teach you to make hard mode way too easy and also easy mode by extension

Day 1
during this night all you need is to set up some basic farms

this night is overall pretty easy and what you would expect to see in a standard play-through of this game. the only difference this time is you need to buy a ton of land.

landmines can only destroy preexisting buildings so if you blow them up before hand they are incapable of doing anything.
Day 2
INDUSTRY TIME

During this day your only goal is to get to 18 industry.

It will also help you later if make the path for the cotton unnecessarily long

if you dont you can just work more vertically rather than fully horizontal
Day 3
If you successfully made 18 industry then you can begin setting up your gun powder farms

If you did space out your cotton farm at the time you can now take the easy mode and just replace your industry research table and two convener belts if you didn't then you just need to change where your extractor is and make it face down rather than over.

You get to spend this entire day simply farming for gunpowder and this will pretty much be what you do for the rest of the game.
Day 4 (optional)
If you survived up to here you are pretty much done. the last step is just leveling up your efficiency if you do decide to research this you just need the stronger water pumps, the larger stockpiles, and the better extractors if you replace your starting blocks with these if have mastered the game and will be able to AFK the rest of the time.
Coasting to the end
At this point you can just head into town and get some extra shipping contracts but other than that you beat the game.


this is the basic idea of what your farm should look like and from there you dont really need to add anything. Just sit back and watch funny number go up.
