First step will require you to train your patience. On many servers ppl will ignore that you are friendly and automatically kill you. To avoid raging and screaming in chat how bad ppl are for killing friendlies. For that i will link music that should prevent you from raging. If it does not work, try punching some pillows or plushies. Anyway heres ur anti-rage music:

Once you are ready with patience lets take a look at the best hats, weapons, and class to be friendly.
Best Class to pick for being friendly is Heavy. Why? Tbh idk he kinda looks cute.
Now the best weapons are: Any gloves, sandvich, u can have any minigun.
For hat pick the beanie. Just do it.
Got it all? Great! You can move onto the next step.

Once you got it all join casual and be friendly! There are very important rules tho:
1. GOLDEN rule DO NOT kill anyone
2. DO NOT cap point or intel
3. there is only 1 exception to golden rule. You MUST kill everyone who even TRIES to kill you or your mates
