The 5700x is really good you should go for it if you can, as for the graphic card you can wait the RTX 4000 series

Been thinking of getting a 5700x, nice price point at the moment but I still can't justify a new graphics card.

Ryzen 7 3700x + RTX 3070 here and it plays between 25 and 35 fps at 1440p

Look at those blistering frame rates on a 3090 and 12900K. Can't wait to play at sub 15FPS on my 1660S and R3-3100.
