Overlay fix, control layouts, and perhaps preventing the game crashing - Worms Blast
By < blank >
This was working on Windows 10. I am not sure on other operating systems like XP or other software in general. It should work with anything using DirectX as this is a screen wrapper for Direct X

Files for the fix and instructions:
This links is files for the fix of the game https://mega.nz/folder/pEElhQIY#qLXPVbNw_e8PkV5yMjID1g copy/paste it in your browser of choice

Go to your library in Steam and click Manage > Browse local folders

Put everything in \Steam\steamapps\common\Worms Blast\XOM\bin folder

Also, set dgVoodoo to your screen resolution, which is 1920 x 1080 in my case.

From booting up the game just pick the last resolution option on the launcher menu. Screenshots are at the side, and it is easy to tell if that is working if in the corner if Steam information pop's up even easier if you have the FPS counter on.

As seen 1920x1080
Problems:
If stuck in window mode try ALT+Enter or move the cursor over the enlarged window.
Its scuffed, so the might be invisible.

Once passed, it'll be no problems unless you tab out again, just revert the setting.
Control layouts (Xbox One/360):
Here's a control setup for the Xbox 360 controller

In the search bar on Windows type "Run" and in the command copy/paste each of these links (only do one if you're planning to play single player mode):
For player 1: steam://controllerconfig/70650/2815774966
For player 2: steam://controllerconfig/70650/2911777072

B is weapon select
A is fire
Start is to exit the game or say go back (ESC key) + pause in-game

Y or X you don't need them.

You need to set each one of these configs to desired controller, and unfortunately that is for yourself to sort in Steam control layout editor.

You can find it by plugging in the controllers, right clicking on Worms Blast, selecting Control Layout, and then per controller. Or in picture mode via selecting the game.

If for some reason you need a hand, I am here to help. If it over writes one of the file, just save it manually from the community tab of shared control layouts. You know my name. I've had no trouble with it, but best to saying if it does happen.

Feel free to edit it yourself if so pleased as desired.

P.S you can use the keyboard as an extra controller.

cfgmgr32.dll is for Plug N Play for features on Windows, and is probably corrupted using cfgmgr32.dll from your device. It's a standard issue along with Windows software.

It is probably the problem if the game is diving for any reason. It'd not break anything by deleting it.

These files were a mixed bundle I threw together. I found to get working on a lot of older games so kept what worked together.

Direct X output can be a little off with some other .DLLs for other Window software. Or at least it was for me.

Saying it I forget it was there! I guess it could help in the future maybe.

So I don't know if this applies for everyone, but currently, while the patch DOES give fullscreen support (I haven't seen how the crashing situation is yet), it also causes the game's audio to be cut and the framerate to go through the floor. Through some trial and error though, I found that deleting the file "cfgmgr32.dll" fixes the problems, though I don't know if that breaks another fix.
