Follow these steps to swap characters between save files:

1. Always backup your own save file using: https://www.gamesave-manager.com/
2. Download a save file you want to import and unzip it.
3. Download Elden Ring Save Copier: https://github.com/BenGrn/EldenRingSaveCopier/releases
4. Open the save copier.
5. Click on browse for source file and navigate to the file you just downloaded.
6. Click on browse for destination file and locate your current save file, in my case it is here: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing\[USER ID]
7. Select copy from [The Name of the Character you Downloaded] to [A Slot of Your Choosing in Your Save File], it's best to choose an empty slot, else it overwrites an existing character.
8. Delete the .sl2.bak file that is located in the save folder.
9. Enjoy the added characters!

What is a mule save file?
A mule save file is a save file containing a character that has every (tradable) item in the game. All the gear will be non leveled so they can be transfered to both new and leveled up characters.

It will contain the following items which are all tradable between players:
Armor
Talismans
Weapons
Shields
Ashes of war
Runes
Consumables
Crafting materials

Ofcourse to swap items on your own characters, you will need a coop friend to pick up the items you drop. Then you reload your old save and login with the character that needs the items. Your friend can then give the duplicated items to you.

The save file contains all 10 classes (mules) at level 150. All have every item in the game. The items are 100% farmed and non bannable to use. The mule saves also has more than enough Smithing Stones to upgrade a few weapons to max level in case it is needed.

Ofcourse you can always reset the characters stats and change the looks/name if you feel like it ingame at Raya Lucaria Academy.

Below is the list of characters in this save file.
All finished characters have 100% game completion and are at the grace to go straight into the DLC.
