Categorized Inventory

This patch extends the Gothic 2 inventory by browsable categories.

The time of long searches and scrolling in the inventory are over. This patch makes minimal changes to the existing Gothic 2 inventory to ensure the highest possible stability. Very few, intuitive key bindings allow easy navigation. The categories and their order are based on the existing sorting system of Gothic 2.

There are two ways of categorization to choose from (see below). One of them is inspired by the Gothic 1 inventory, while the other also categorizes trading and container inventories, prepended with an "all"-category (default).


The categorized inventory can be adjusted with three settings in the Gothic.ini in the section [GAME].

1. The categories and their order can be set with invCatOrder.
   
2. The setting invCatChangeOnLast (0 or 1) changes whether navigation beyond the last/first column should switch the category instead of moving the selection to the previous/next line.
   
3. With invCatG1Mode (0 or 1) the 'all' category is removed and all non-player inventories do not have categories.
