To activate the cheat menu press and hold down Left Shift and then press F11. Now you should see a dark cheat menu and you can activate a cheat or several by typing them and pressing the Return/Enter key. To exit the cheat menu simply press Return/Enter again.

Mission 05: Doc McCoy's Cabin:
When you're testing Doc McCoy's abilities, try and place the scarecrow at the sunk boat, then place it at the edge of the dock. McCoy will place the scarecrow and then walk to the end of the dock and raise his hand and the boat rises out of the water and is deposited on the bank. Cooper then walks over and says: "May the force be with you, young McCoy" - which is referencing the movie Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

On a Thief in the Night, you don't need to saddle all the horses. Have John mount a horse then ride in (slowly when you get to camp), lasso one, and take it up north to the corral. Dismount then re-mount (to release the lasso - unless there's another way) and get the next horse. Repeat.
Once all the horses are in the corral up north, cut the prisoner's rope, knock him out, carry him away.
The first 3 bad guys are by far the worst.

Only cut the rope, put the sadles on the horses, bring all of them to the empty field, free the prisioner, knocking him out and bring him to the horses always failed to me! Always shows Mission Failed and Mission Failed.

To pass Mission 9 you need to cut the rope and put all the sadles on the horses. Bring all of them to the empty field (north on the map), then free the prisioner, knock him out, and bring him to where the horses are. The dude at the cabin will start blaming everybody on his gang for being lazy and stuff, and will go away with his horse, which will cause the mission to be completed.

Shift and F11 doesn't work for me. It sucks cause I looked forward to play this again and just have some fun. :/

Only time I used one of the cheats was to break out Sanchez out of prison.
That mission is a pain in the ass and after the 6 or 7 save reload, decided to use Zeus mighty skill.

Can't help about the cheats, but can attest the game is finishable without them. A solid use of endless saving required though. NPCs being derpy doesn't hurt either. Discovered a pretty cool trick with Sam which is to lie down on top of a roof with a slight lip near to a ladder, then shoot the gun and all the enemies come running, one by one up the ladder, and one by one bang goes the gun. Pretty satisfying.
