9. Climb ladder on 7 to reach chest with COIN #3 on 8
   
10. Go back to to the quarry through the secret passage on 4 and lower bridge on 9

13. Follow your way around the lower areas of the quarry until you enter the ziggurat, the huge doors we opened earlier. The path is linear and straightforward.

    REMINDER: If you're not using "No Fail Mode," you'll want to grab the mask on (B) in order not to have your max HP reduced to 1 while in the lower areas of the quarry.

14. Make your way through the rooted ziggurat until you reach the altar right before the boss.
15. Activate the obelisk and enter the door behind it. Use the teleporter to go back to the Town Ruins (middle right portal on the hub).

Since there's no map for this area, in this section I'll just show points of interest through screenshots.

Get the pages on (A). (B) is how we'll exit this area once we circle around after completing it.

From the main area once you reach the East Forest, indicated by the pink line, you can find a shortcut to the lower area of the forest, which hides a secret treasure, a coin and a fairy.

When you get to this area, equip the magic dagger, the magic wand and the magic orb. Use the magic dagger and magic wand together on the slime, then immediately hook it with your magic orb to make your way into the ledge. Grab the secret chest there.

Go back up to the East Forest proper and find the manual pages just standing on the teleporter of this area.

In the area next to the teleporter, to the right of the temple-looking structure right in front of it, follow the pink line to find your next effigy.

Follow the intended path until you reach the bell back at the entrance. Ring it for another achievement.

Leave the area through the path shown in (B) in the first screenshot of this section, under "Manual pages 12 and 13." From there you'll be in the Forest Temple.

14. Exit through the teleporter.
15. From there, pick the two remaining bosses to defeat, B being the boss of the scavengers and A being the Librarian. Defeating these two will net you two other achievements:

16. Once you're done with the bosses, make your way back to the Town Ruins, exiting through (C) from the teleporter hub.

This area also does not have a map.

The golden door is the entrance to the sealed temple. You can open it now that both bells have been rang.


Stand in front of this sculpture and input the following pattern: ⬆️ ⬅️ ⬆️ ➡️ ⬆️ ⬅️ ⬆️ ➡️ ⬆️ ⬅️ ⬇️ ⬅️ ⬆️ ⬆️ ➡️ (UP, LEFT, UP, RIGHT, UP, LEFT, UP, RIGHT, UP, LEFT, DOWN, LEFT, UP, UP, RIGHT)

Place the three keys in their slots (A). This will get you another achievement.

Grab the pages and make your way back to the teleporter.

In the teleporter hub, enter the teleporter in the middle. Talk to the fox to trigger the battle. It will hit you and leave you with 1 HP left. You can try to fight it, but I suggest not using your consumables, since you're meant to lose this fight.

7. On 6, you'll see a red skull on a gravestone in front of a hole / puddle. Push the red skull into the hole. There are three more red skulls. One we pushed down the hill earlier. Another is hidden behind a gravestone, and the last one is a little further ahead.

8. Activate obelisk on 7
   
9. On 8, find a secret passage to 9, a chest containing COIN #11
   
10. Go up the hill next to 8 and grab COIN #12 in chest on 10
    
11. Make your way around the upper levels to 11. Activate the obelisk there.
    
12. Enter the Cathedral on 12
    
13. Go to the door on the right, make your way to the hall with the birds. At the end of it, on the right, there's a secret door. In it you'll find COIN #13
14. Right across the exit of the hall of the birds, there's a room in which you can drop a ladder to the floor below to create a shortcut. Push against the top wall with the emblem to reveal a secret passage.
15. There's a chest in that passage containing EFFIGY #9
    
16. Push against the wall behind the chest to reveal another secret passage
    
17. Go all the way down the path and over the light bridge. 18. Go through the revealed door, and you'll be outside the Cathedral once again. Grab the money from the chest and make your way around to the entrance; there's a hidden ladder at the back that will put you right in front of the main door. Remember this; you'll have to come back later.
19. Go back to the top floor of the Cathedral and make your way to the obelisk, activating it
    
20. Go down the elevator that just appeared
    
21. Go into the shop in the hole on the east wall
    
22. Buy COIN #14 and COIN #15 for 1998 units of money

    NOTICE: This guide was written while playing the Xbox version at launch. At that time, both coins were available at the shop. HOWEVER, when playing the PC version, only 1 coin is available at the shop. There are two ways of obtaining your last coin. One is shown at the end of this section, and another (thanks to user Ezel in the comments) is detailed at the start of the next section, "RECOVERING YOUR UPGRADES."

23. Back in the main room, go down the ladder in front of the altar
    
24. Conquer all 6 challenges to receive air dash

NOTICE FOR THOSE MISSING THE LAST COIN: Instead of going down to the beach as suggested in step 28, go back into the Swamp. Go back to the altar and climb the surrounding pillars to access a chest that can only be reached with air dash. I'll use a reference from daytime for convenience, but you can get this chest now. Instead of following the arrow, keep going further down over the fence until you see a ledge with a chest, as shown in the second image.

UPDATE: As pointed by user Ezel in the comments, there's a coin hidden in an area we'll be exploring next. Bear in mind you can also get that one if you don't want to backtrack now.

10. Return to the teleporter hub and follow a secret path on (C) to find a secret chest

11. Air dash your way to (B) to find a teleporter to the East Forest
    
12. From the teleporter, follow this path to find an ethereal fox. Input the sequence ⬆️ ⬇️ ⬆️ ⬇️ ⬅️ ➡️ ⬅️ ➡️ ⬇️ ⬅️ ⬆️ ➡️ (UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, UP, RIGHT) to get your last fairy, FAIRY #20
13. Find your strength upgrades back at the tomb on the far east, right corner of the temple-looking thing right in front of the teleporter
    
14. Return to the teleporter hub. Go through the first portal you come across after returning, the one on the bottom right of the main area.
    
15. Make your way down to the main hall of the Great Library. You have to defeat two guardians (B) to reveal the tomb (A).
16. Grab your mana upgrades from this tomb and return to the teleporter hub.
    
17. Use the topmost teleporter on the right to make your way to the Forest Temple.
    
18. Make your way to the outside from the main entrance. There, head east on the ground floor. Go all the way to the right to find the tomb. You'll get your HP upgrades back here.
    
19. While still in front of the tomb, air dash north to find a secret area
20. In this secret area there are 4 bundles of leaves, one is hidden behind a tree. Whack them with your sword to reveal the chest

21. Return to the Town Ruins. To recover your potion upgrades you need to make your way to the mountain into the quarry. There, go into the monastery (where you'd get your mask).
    
22. Make sure to go all the way up to the tomb, then back to trigger a fight. Defeat the enemy to clear the tomb
    
23. Recover your potion upgrades. You should have all 6 back now.
