描述
Naming conventions for the AI when it hybridizes. The culture system has so much potential but not fleshed out well enough. Here is a patch work to help your immersion, tired of a guest with some abomination culture with too many names and one too many hyphens? Well I have made it my mission to set triggers that help the AI make a culture name you might recognize or at least know where it might be on the map. It won’t always make historic sense in its mix, sometimes the AI does weird things, or I have decided to value a name for a mix instead of not having one at all.

Should be compatible with just about every mod, only two files and can be duplicated.


Hybrid list: ( parentheses denotes region requirement )

-Highlander = goidelic + north Germanic (Scotland )
-Austmen = goidelic + north germanic ( Ireland )
-Burgundian = Frankish + either central German or Latin ( burgundy )
-Sri lanken = Dravidian + indo ( the island )
-Deccan = Dravidian + indo (mainland)
-Syrian = Arabic + Iranian or Byzantine ( K_Syria)
-Sachen = any central germanic minus Saxon + polabian
-upper Saxon = Saxon + polabian
-Ukrainian = East Slav + turkic or west slav *** revising this area
-Novgorodian = East Slav + Baltic Finnic
-Ryzani = East Slav + Volga Finnic
-Astrakhan = vespian + Samoyed
-Ahwazi = turkic + Iranian
-Uzbek = Tajik + karluk ( k-trasoxiana)
-khorasan = Persian + Turkish ( k_khorason)

I will certainly get back around to this and update it. Thanks for the suggestions and pointing it out. No timeline, but ill attempt to get something out before march

The other issues seem to be probably related to version updates. Some heritage no longer exists in the new version (such as heritage_sahelian_ibl ), which can be removed.
And some titles are wrong named in other ranks, these are just some of my thought about the game content, just for your reference

gualish: d_middlesex -> d_bedford (c_middlesex in capital)
bangladeshi: d_tamralipti -> d_suhma (c_tamralipti in capital)
lower_saxon: d_lubeck -> d_holstein (c_lubeck in capital) in 00_names.txt file
austrian_hybrid: d_austria -> k_austria or d_osterreich (c_vienna in capital)
kochi: d_kacharia -> d_para_lauhitya (eng loc name: Kachari Raj), trigger maybe also can add d_sutiya nearby?

Very love the work, it makes more immersion in game playthrough, but it seems there are some typos in cultural hybrid triggers

muscovite: title:k_opoyle (error) -> title:k_opolye (correct)
mamluks: title:k_jurusalem -> title:k_jerusalem
iraq: title:k_mespotamia -> title:k_mesopotamia
judios: culture:shepardi -> culture:sephardi
kochi, bangladeshi: title:d_kamarupanaga -> title:d_kamarupanagara
madridian: d_toldedo -> d_toledo
porto: d_combria -> d_coimbra

Another issue is capital_county scope problem in kham and vlaemsch hybrid culture triggers.

Updated to most recent version though due to simplicity of this mod it should never conflict with new updates or mods

Yes anyone may use this work and add their own local translations. All you should do is edit the localization file and just change the names inside the “ “.

I’m not play ck3 as frequently. I do plan to always revisit on dlc updates. I am always adding names and possible combinations as each play through has the AI do funky things. Most recently I adjusted the “romantic” catch all for Iberians and French to narrow a trigger in for Pyrenees( I’m seeing it occur frequently here)

I’m also always open to suggestions or point out frequent hybrids that the AI does with no good name or poor naming.

For some reason this mod shows up as game version 1.6.0 for me, tried reinstalling and unsubscribing. Is that an issue on my end? Figure maybe it's just a description error or something. ill load it up with my other mods and check but wanted to ask in case im just missing something lol.

Love the work. You should keep adding to the list, I feel like this is important for the game experience and that Paradox should've done this.
