Beskrivning

Adds new weapon manufacturers named "Damascus Type" that have a variety of custom skins.

There are multiple tiers of Damascus, as some are also made part of vanilla manufacturers such as "Ancient", "Skeleton Smiths", and "Unknown". These weapons range from rusted junk to things on the same level as Edgewalkers or Skeleton Smiths. They are available to you through researching, shops, and they even spawn on people. Through the use of adding some skins to vanilla manufacturers, these skins will also spawn on modded NPCs.

Massive Revamp

I have added 30+ new weapon skins that range from the lowest tiers all the way to the luxury tiers. Because of this, crafting has been revamped and things like the Military and Luxury researches have been segregated. You will not be able to craft Radial Type, Skeleton Smith Mosaic Type, or (currently) some of the refitted versions off the Luxury tier weapons. I have also revamped their presence in the world, giving specific boss npcs the highest grades.

Wootz Type 一 Rosewood

Wootz Type 二 Desert Emerald

Wootz Type 三 Onyx

Feather Type

Skeleton Class

These use vanilla parts other than the blade, and they are added to the Skeleton Smiths manufacturer.

Mk I Mosaic Type - I

Mid Class

Catun Damascus Type
Variants of the Mid-Type that are added to the Catun Scrapmaster weapon manufacturer.

Catun Damascus No.1

Damascus Mid Type

Damascus Sub-Type I

Radial Type

Fireball Damascus

Low Class

Damascus Type No.3

Damascus Type No.1

Damascus Type No.6

Rusted Junk Class

These are variants of the vanilla Ancient and Unknown tier, they are added to those manufacturers, as well.

Oh no, that saddens me. My ninja clan needs that onyx for their lore ; ; Please consider makin it craftable or at least a meitou. I beg of you!

I moved the onyx, rose, and emerald to like just rare luxury drops. also thanks

I made skins that should be as good as meitou, they're just non-existent

Would still love to see this mod get some meitou tier or post-meitou tier grades to make some strong and pretty weapons. The overwhelming majority of post-meitou grades in Kenshi mods just look ugly and lack any metallic materials or cool details, aside from that soul mod though it lags my game out.

Having an issue where upon upgrading the damascus smith to lvl 3, all of the recipes disappear, making new one from scratch doesnt fix it either, I can only use the lvl 1/2 smith

I've made rare skins obtainable by random chance the same way you'd obtain various other skins in the default game, just because I wanted to make it challenging on my mod and stuff. They spawn on various people, in various places, in various boxes and containers, in various stores, etc. If someone wanted to make a mod allowing for quick obtention, I wouldn't be against it, just don't redistribute the textures unless you need to for the mod to actually work.

It's a good mod but it makes smithing a bit overwhelming, I can't recommend it to players who just want to make weapons, but if you wanna get nerdy and make a friggin' masterpiece, you first need this masterpiece of a mod
