Please note that the extension directory *must* remain "kk4duy_playeroffice_audio_sanity" exactly, because of the way references to audio files must be scoped in the XML.

Love this mod makes me want to actually use the office now. Question, would it be possible to remove the annoying screeching modem sound from the workbench as well?

Thank you so much! This makes managing an empire from the office so much better. The only thing missing now is somekind of radio/jukebox in the office :)

knightphantom420: that's totally outside the scope of this mod and I think would require script edits, possibly even touching the UI Lua. Not something I would like to mess with.

I updated this mod to remove a few replacements that were not necessary after some patching by egosoft in response to complaints about the noises.

They still left the incessant beeping though, so that replacement remains.

can u make a mod that removes the com chatter when ships r fighting? that would be great so that i don't have to keep the voice volume down to zero!

I have reviewed this mod for the 6.00 beta and found no pertinent changes.

Some of the smaller tweaks no longer apply as Egosoft has removed the console sound emitter, and the tweak I made to one of the sounds from the screen is still pertinent (no changes needed, however).

The best (and worst) news though: the main office beeps are still there in the stock game. However, this mod should continue to nerf them :D

Whoever designed the audio for that office should be fired. Have fun RP'ing being the station manager with all that noise going on.
