Introduction
This game has a good amount of achievements, from easy to get to absolute hell to complete. This guide will be giving some advice on how to get them. However, I will be assuming that you have completed the game once, and that you understand the basics of the gameplay.

I recommend completing the achievements on Normal when possible, but you can always do them on Lunatic if you feel brave enough.

The order of the challenges are not the same as in the game. I tried to put them in a logical order, from easy to hard.

Note: I do not know if the challenges can be completed with Seiran if you play as her with the DLC. I recommend doing them with Reisen.
Challenges (Part 1)
Art of Dying
Die over 50 times
Self explanatory. The real question is how many challenges will you be able to complete before getting this!

Where's your God
Die over 200 times
Same as the previous one. Do you think you can complete all the other challenges before this one?

Story To Tell
Beat the Extra Stage for the first time
After beating the final boss, the extra stage will unlock. All you need to do is finish it in order to complete the challenge.

The Seeker
Within a single playthrough, grab all Power Up items
There is a total of 17 P points that can be obtained in a playthrough. You get one after beating each of the main 8 bosses, as well as the prologue one. For the remaining 8 ones, you must find one in each stages. You can keep track of the one you miss from the stage selection menu. With all of them, you will be able to buy every power up items from the shop.

Merciful Fate
Beat the Intro Stage Boss without harming the rabbit she throws out.
You will be fighting Tewi for this challenge. She doesn't have many attacks, which mean she will surely throw a bunny or two at you during the fight. You may also get lucky and have none on the stage at all. Simply dodge her attacks and use charged shots at her until she goes down while avoiding hitting the bunnies. Shooting her while she jumps might be the safest way if there are many bunnies on the ground.

You can only do this fight in the prologue, so you will have to restart a playthrough to be able to do the challenge.

Forgotten Past
In the 'Forest of Magic' Stage, find the remains of the past and activate a barrier on that spot
In the second half of the stage, you will have to go through a section with multiple tree trunks, with giant mushrooms underground. At the end of this section, there will be a bone pile underground. Activate the shield over it to complete the challenge.

Primitve Ways
Reach the end of the 'Shining Needle Castle' Stage while flipping the gravity no more than 4 times
For this one, you need to be able to perform two deathbomb in order to skip so flips. The first deathbomb is used at the very beginning, while the second one is used to climb a spike wall in the second half of the stage. You have to complete the stage in one go, so if you die in the second half of the stage, you should restart.

To perform a deathbomb, you have to use a bomb the moment you touch the spikes. The timing is tight, so it may take a few attempts before you get the hang of it.

Here is a video by Melodica that demonstrates the challenge, and where to perform the deathbombs.

Disposable Heroes
In the Final Stage, defeat 50 Moon Rabbit Soldiers
Time to bully the bunnies!
Simply kill everything on you way to the second section of the stage. In one section with grey blocks, there will be multiple bunnies at the bottom. Simply go back and forth and kill them as they respawn.

Keep Yourself Alive
Reach the end of the 'Kaian Passageway 4' Stage without harming any enemies
Make sure to have all the upgrades, especially health upgrade, early bombs and Bullet Eraser. For this challenge, you should learn the enemy spawns and the path of projectiles. Do not ever shoot or use bomb individually, you might kill something and ruin the challenge.

If you ever get low health, try to use your shield with many projectiles on screen to get some health back. The shield should also provide a few additional hits, so use that to your advantage. I recommend trying to use the shield as late as possible in the stage to increase your odds to stay alive until the end.

One Touch is Too Much
Reach the end of the 'Dream World' Stage without taking any damage
I found this one to be among the hardest challenges in the game perhaps because I might not be that good in shoot-em-ups, but I'll blame the huge hitbox.

Make sure to have all the health upgrades as well as early bombs. After that, it's all about learning enemy placements in order to blast them as they appear on screen, while dodging the projectiles. If there is a part that you have trouble to dodge projectiles, you can use the shield to avoid hits.

There's no many hints I can give other than practice. You will eventually get it with a bit of patience and skills.

Fade to Black
Reach the end of the Extra Stage without harming any enemies
Killing enemies light up the area for a short period of time. Since you cannot kill anything, you will have to navigate blindly. As always, you will want to learn the layout of the map before attempting this. The first half of the map isn't so bad, try to avoid getting hit by enemies as much as possible, and use your shield when you get low on health. You want to reach the checkpoint quickly.

The second half, however, can be painful, since there are spikes floors everywhere. Try using the enemies as reference for the safe landing spots. If all else fail, you can always look for a video as reference to help navigate.

Exit Light, Enter Night
In SURVIVAL, get a win streak of 10 or higher
After beating the extra stage once, the Survival mode will be unlocked in the title screen. In this mode, you will be fighting all the main bosses, excluding Tewi, Yorihime and Eirin. The fights are all randomized. After each fight, you will have the opportunity to chose 1 of 3 modifiers that will help you for the next couple of fights. They are temporary, and also random, so you must chose wisely.

Here's a few things to consider:
  • On the first 5 rounds, the bosses will be on Easy difficulty.
  • On the 6th round to the 20th, the bosses will be on Normal difficulty.
  • After round 20, the bosses will be on Lunatic difficulty.

While the achievement may require you to complete 10 rounds, you may want to reach and complete the 25th round for a special reward!

For modifiers, I recommend taking Health+ to increase your odds to survival, as well as Damage+ to take out the bosses quickly. Heal becomes important if you ever get low in health. Other skills can be useful depending who you fight against ( No collision damage is good against Mokou, while Phoenix Wings can be great against Nue to stay above her and the Green UFO). Unfortunately, since the modifier are random, you cannot always get to choose the one you want, so as always, be careful and focus on dodging.
Challenges (Part 2)
Don't Stop Me Now
From the moment of starting a new playthrough, reach the end credits in under 1 hour
If you have been completing the other challenges, you should have a good idea of the stages and the bosses in the game.

This might seems hard, but one hour is pretty generous. I was able to finish the game in about 50 minutes while collecting all the upgrades and dying a couple of times. If there are any section you have difficulty with, you should take some time to practice them before attempting this challenge.

Alive
From the moment of starting a new playthrough, reach the end credits without dying
Unlike the speedrun achievement, you will have to be extra careful for this challenge. If you die, you will have to restart from the beginning. Make sure you are able to nail the hard sections before attempting this.

Here's a few tips that can help you to get through:
  • Pausing and leaving a stage doesn't ruin your playthrough. If you think you are about to die, you can restart the stage without any penalty.
  • Spikes are your biggest threats. Be extra careful around them. You can always damage boost (take a hit from an enemy for some invincibility frames) to get through some hard sections.
  • Go for upgrades, even if some of P item are risky (like in Nue stage). The upgrade will definitely help you in the long run.
  • If you have Bullet Eraser, and 3 bombs, use the shield when there are plenty of projectiles on screen to get some health back.
  • If you are too stressed. You can always take a break and leave the game, then come back later.

I Can Feel Your Pain, I Can Hear You Breaking
Beat the Final Boss on Lunatic without upgrades and take 0 damage in the process
The hardest challenge of the game. Not only you have to play on Lunatic difficulty and get to the end without any upgrade, which is already hard, you also have to beat Yorihime without taking any hit. If you haven't died 200 times yet, this might happen here.

First off, you should practice the fight. Learn the moves and how to dodge them:
  • Parry: She will raise her sword in a defensive position. If you shoot her at this point, a projectile will fly back at you, and once it reaches the edge of the screen, multiple smaller ones will come flying back again. This is extremely hard to dodge, since she can attack before this end. The best strategy is not attacking during this move. Charge your shot and wait for her to put her sword down.

She will often start the fight with this move. The move also comes out quick, so be cautious when shooting at her between attacks.

  • Projectiles from the sides: She will point the sword in front of her, and multiples small projectiles will come flying horizontally from both side of the screen, at 4 different height. If you are lucky, the projectiles will all be on the higher heights, so you don't have to try to dodge them. Otherwise, wait a bit for the projectiles to spawn, then dash-jump above them on one side, and dodge the ones from the other side. Use the opening at the beginning and after dodging the attack to shoot her.

This is an easy move to dodge and to attack her, so you will be praying this one to come out often.

  • Slash: She will quickly draw her sword behind her, and then move from one side to the other of the screen in an instant. Right after she reach the attack, small projectiles will come flying upward from the ground. They will come in 2 waves.

To avoid the attack, jump above the slash, and you will have to land between the visual cue for the projectiles that will come out next. As soon as the first wave comes out, move underneath one to avoid the second wave. You can shoot her at the beginning of the slash and after the slash while dodging the projectiles. You should focus on dodging instead of trying to shoot her.

  • Jump: She will jump atop the screen and cast down a lightning bolt at the peak of her jump. Once it touches the ground, electric balls will go towards each side, and then small projectiles will fly in multiple angle at two different speed. The blue one will move fast while the red one will move slower. As for the jump. there are two different length. She can jump across the whole stage, but she can also make a smaller one that goes about 2/5 of the stage.

This is her worst move. Not only can it be hard to dodge, she can also follow up with another attack very quickly while you try to avoid the small projectile. The small leap also puts her close to the middle of the stage, making it harder to avoid whatever comes next.

You have an opening to shoot her as she starts her jump and as she lands. However, you should focus on dodging.

Here's a few tips that can help you to get through:
  • Even if you get hit, you should keep going an practice on dodging her attacks. Make sure to not kill her, otherwise you will have to go through the stage again.
  • Always use charged shot. You want to keep the fight as short as possible.
  • You will have many close call, sometime soul crushing. There's no shame in taking breaks after some good attempts.
  • Good luck, you will need it.
Once you get it, give yourself a treat for completing the hardest challenge of the game!
Challenges (Part 3)
Installation Complete
Find Eirin's secret medicine
This is a very well hidden challenge within Mokou' stage. Thanks to the developer to confirm the requirement on how to achieve it!

After beating all 8 main stages, go back to the stage and make your way to where the P point is. Then make your way back to the checkpoint spot. Once you get back there, a sign will be present, and upon touching it, you will complete the challenge. You will also unlock a special move, with some extra dialogue!

Take It or Leave It
Complete every Challenge in the game
One you got everything, simply return to the Challenges menu and it will unlock. Congratulation!
Conclusion

Contribution
I would like to thank Sinful Sorcerer and Melodica for providing some insight on a couple achievements, as well as Surnist, who provided me hints about "Primitive Ways" and "Installation Complete" originally. Otherwise, I would probably have never figured them out on my own, and I would have not made this guide.

A big thanks to the developer, Potemki12, who provide the actual requirement for "Installation Complete", as well as making such a great game!

If you want to help improve the guide, feel free to leave a comment, and I will do my best to make the adjustments! Pictures and videos for some of the challenges would be appreciated!

My observations for Yorihime's fight (Lunatic):

1) Does either Jumping Thunder or Side Orbs. Can do Step 1) multiple times in a row.
2) Does Blink Slash once, before going to Step 1)
A) Every attack has a chance to be replaced with Parry instead

I just got the "I Can Feel Your Pain, I Can Hear You Breaking"!

A protip for the achievement "Alive": if you died unfortunately, you can press Alt+F4 instantly, and you can still get the achievement. I've tested it, and it works.

I did not die in the second half of the stage. I also made sure to quit to the menu, and then zone in again, even if I died on the first half. I tried to rule out a number of reasons and the attempt that triggered the achievement was not killing enemies, strangely enough.

For Primitive Ways, right? I'm fairly certain that you are allowed to kill enemies.

Just to be sure to rule out the obvious, in your attempt that didn't trigger the achievement, did you die in the second half of the stage? If so, that might have been the reason, since you have to do the stage in one go.
Azure 4 Oct, 2023 @ 7:31am
Update: it seems like you can't kill any enemies either, that's what was preventing the achievement.

I've tried getting the Seija achievement on hard while following the video and the achievement didn't trigger. Actually did that twice just to make sure.

Sorry for the long delay, I have updated the guide now that we have the true requirement for Installation Completed. Big thanks to the dev!

@Orphel_Tata I'm not sure if the achievements can be completed as Seiran, since I completed everything with Reisen before the DLC came out. If someone can confirm if it can be done, I can add a note about it.

@Musical_Lucario It's a DOUBLE quarter-circle, I got confused as well because my brain skipped the double part hahaha

Also thank you dev for saying the requirements for Installation Complete, my brain's not the best to figure out stuff like this and I spent 2 hours already, dope install mode as well :)
Musical_Lucario 18 May, 2023 @ 1:28am
How fast do you need to quarter-circle to activate Eirin's secret move? I've tried to use it a lot of times after getting the ability from the sign and just get regular bombs every time (and am not at low hp either)
