Hello! This guide will show you how to boost FPS on P4U2 if you're playing on a laptop/have an integrated GPU.

This guide will go over a major fix that will boost performance by a lot! Then, it will go over some small tweaks to make the game run just a bit better to ensure you can hit 60FPS constantly.

• Press The Windows Key
  
• Type "Intel Graphics Command Center"
  
• Once you're in, go to "Home" (you should already be there)
  
• Add a game by pressing the + to the right where it says "My Games"
  
• Press Manually Select
  
• Navigate to wherever P4U2.exe is, for me it is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\P4U2
  
• Add it, then press "P4U2"
  
• You should see a configuration, set the settings to as follows

Close out of the command center, open your game, enjoy your FPS boost!
If you still can not run the game at 60 constantly, please read the next section

Setting the game to High Priority in task manager
When the game is running, open task manager, head to details, find P4U2.exe, and set the priority to High.


This is self explanatory, but only applies if you're on laptop.

Make sure all the graphical settings are on low, and vsync among other things are disabled.

Try playing in fullscreen in 640x480, or in windowed but shrink the window down so that it goes smaller than 720p. If the game gets to 60FPS, you can try re-maximizing it.

If you're really stretched for power, you can try making windows look less pretty, but hopefully gain some frames. Type "appearance" in the start menu and press enter, then, select this setting.


Another self explanatory one, if you have Discord, Spotify, Steam, Chrome, anything open, close it.
