Elite - 157: The German Home Front 1939-1945

"The Reichspost operated an extensive motor transport service which, though introduced primarily for the conveyance of mails, was also used for carrying passangers. This often provided the only means for passangers and mails to reach rural districts not serviced by a railway."

This addon contains an Opel Omnibus in the typical DRP (Deutsche Reichspost) color scheme from the 1933-1945 time period. In addition to the Reichspost color scheme, the bus also has a 3D party eagle and the inscription "Deustche Reichspost" on its sides.

I haven't come across any reference pictures where this specific bus model was used by the Reichspost, but they did seem to use a lot of very similar bus variants also made by Opel so it wouldn't be a huge stretch of the imagination to believe that the Opel Omnibus also saw service in the Reichspost. The bus can be found in the "Matti's WW2 Vehicles" simfphys category.
