First off, you're probably here because you're unable to find that last legendary location to unlock The Explorer for that sweet 100% trophy.

• The DLC changed the step (the area) of the campaign which was supposed to spawn the legendary location "Tomb of Heroes" due to the introduction of optional portals.
  
• This area no longer exists in the newer builds of the game.

• It doesn't matter whether you bought the DLC or not. It's related to the current version of the game.
  
• Disabling the DLC does not help.
  
• Tomb of Heroes spawns in the first 2-3 steps/areas.
  
• Once you've applied the fix mentioned in this guide, you can speed through the RNG process of spawning the location by bribing your way through the first few steps. (Credit to Mastermeus)

With that said, follow the steps in this guide to fix this mess that's blocking you from your trophy.

As previously mentioned, the newer versions of the game is the main culprit for the disappearance of the tomb. Zirgen (our hero) from the game's discussion forum gave us the older game files required to roll back time and make the older maps available again.

I use 7-zip[www.7-zip.org] but you can use other software that can unpack .RAR files.


Via Steam:

• Right click Crowntakers on your Steam Library and hit Properties.
  
  
  
• Hit the Local Files tab and click Browse (highlighted in yellow)
  
  
  
• Clicking Browse should take you to the correct folder shown below:
  
  

Via File Explorer: Alternatively you can just browse File Explorer. It'll look something like this:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crowntakers
  
• actual path may vary depending on your chosen game directory when installing Steam

• Files unpacked in #2 get pasted over the files found #3
  
  

With that done, your game should now be able to spawn the "Tomb of Heores"!

Where can I find the Tomb of Heroes?

---Around Step 2 (wolf boss area)... let's just assume it's in that first grassland area in general.

How long should it take me to find it (after the fix)?

---It's RNG but some have said they got it as early as 5 minutes. I got mine in about 20 minutes just very casually re-rolling the first 3 steps on EASYmode.

Do I need to disable the DLC if I bought it?

---No.

I found it but I didn't get The Explorer achievement. What gives?

---Copying over those files essentially affects your progress. Just unlock the rest all over again.

What if the download links expire?

---I'll hold onto the folder files and check every year to see if I need to re-upload.
