Restores console and all cheat codes the developers previously removed. It also allows for unlimited camera zoom.

Installation and Download link

Navigate to installation folder (right-click > Properties... > LOCAL FILES > [Browse...].
Backup or rename swineHD.exe.
Goto GitHub[github.com] and download steam-swinehd-cheatsandcam.exe into installation folder, then rename it to swineHD.exe.
Run game via Steam as usual.
Activate console and confirm codes with Enter.
(unlimited zoom is always activated by default)

Who is also developer and maintainer of Definitive HD Remaster Edition[github.com].

Confirmed working in current v1.6.1816. Saves are two-way compatible between both executables and achievements will unlock either way. Only 25 bits differ from the original file.

Be aware that using larger zoom will drastically reduce performanse while absence of LOD implementation will also degrade visuals, such as disappearing shadows and eventually whole geometry. Game was not designed with faraway camera or very shallow angles in mind but you'll be able to comfortably double the zoom without any noticeable impact.
I'm not sure how Multiplayer will behave with modified executable or if it even let you connect (if game employs any protection). If problem arises simply restore backup of the original exe for MP.

Known issue

Camera may glitch to distant zoom after completing a mission and then starting a new one so you'll have to bring it back.

If you find more let me know and I'll dump them here. Unfortunately I can't do more than that.

When I first ran the exe from the mod during testing, Win10 displayed a warning balloon to caution me against running a file with an unknown signature (common occurrence with community made mods) but also allowed me to ignore it. That got me thinking maybe you disabled such warning balloons (understandable because they're a nuisance) so your AV/FW auto-blocks or quarantines every attempt to run it. Although if that was the case game shouldn't even start at all so I don't know.

Maybe last ditch thing to try is to uninstall the game, delete anything still left in the folder, install again, and try running the mod again from a clean slate. Kinda like turning it off and on again. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

thanks alot for the help checking master. i have tried admin and wind 7 compat mode. i will double check the fire wall and av. i am using windows 10, have all those packs installed already as well. when you say warning baloons able to elaborate?

Alright checked it just now and mod still works on latest v1.7 game version (Win10). Once I replace the exe from the mod, version displayed drops to v1.6 but everything else appears to be the same. With the possible exception of multiplayer which we don't care about anyway. Even my old saves from 2022 load and play fine with unlocked camera and console working. To my great relief it appears I won't have to update the guide after all :)

Sorry friend but until I know more I have no choice but to conclude problem has to be on your end. Last few bits that come to mind you can try: running the exe as admin (solves permission issues); adding that same exe to AV/Firewall exceptions (as it's unrecognized to overprotective OS, maybe you have warning balloons turned off?); and setting its compatibility to Win7/10. Other than that I really have no clue what it could be.

Ah I see what might be the culprit - game was updated 9 months ago. Just minor QoL and improved cheat protection (category in which this mod falls into if used nefariously), both multiplayer related. It would explain why game runs at all, not enough was changed to break the mod outright.

Anyway will take a closer look over the weekend but no promises. Unfortunately, since I'm just a messenger rather than the mod author the only way around it as I can see now would be to revert to an earlier game build (25 March 2022, 3.4y ago). Unless it in fact does work and problem is on your end. Hope you won't mind waiting for a little while more while I'm figuring it out.
