Descrizione
Completing the Pillage Legacy Tree unlocks Jomsviking Pirates[ck3.paradoxwikis.com] as Men-at-Arms.

These Men-at-Arms are part of the base Northern Lords expansion but are normally only obtainable through events or Holy Orders.

Jomsviking Pirates[ck3.paradoxwikis.com] are Skirmishers with stats comparable to culture-specific Heavy Infantry and have some of the best Pursuit and Screen stats in the game.

If the AI obtains the Legacy they can use the units as well.

This mod overrides:
/common/men_at_arms_types/01_fp1_maa_types.txt
Works with any game version.

I am so sad this mod is not up to date, one of my favourite mods to get these pesky pirates. Time to do holy orders and call it a day.

Is there any possibility of making them only available for the Jomsviking order founder?
I don't want my entire dynasty to run around with those maniacs :D

I unlocked the dynasty perk and now all my landed families are running around with them, Awesome!

@Studlius Dudeguy @firespark84 The player can personally own some Jomsvikings as event troops so tying them to something culture specific that requires effort to unlock isn't much of a deviation from the vanilla experience in my eyes. As long as not every AI has access to the unit I don't mind that it isn't entirely historically accurate. Christian "Order Knights" on the other hand can never be owned directly by the player afaik. They're available as mercenaries for any Christian ruler but they are also the second weakest Heavy Infantry unit. I don't want every AI to be able to use the unit and there isn't anything culture specific I could tie it to so the best place to give access to the unit seems like the Armed Pilgrimages tenet to me. It's unique to the Catholic faith and a player can create a new faith with that tenet. If I do add it, that'll be in a separate mod.

@Studlius Dudeguy that's true but you can basically just imagine that this why you are paying them they are mercenaries in your service
