Lily's Well is a puzzle game wherein you need to figure out how to reach the bottom of the well.


In the beginning, collecting and creating the ropes is your goal because you'll be able to use it to descend the well. Just take your time discovering items and knowing how to use stuff. Stories will continuously unfold as you go on, and there are different kinds of ending for every actions that you do.

There are a total of 15 rope materials that are available but only 14 could be carried.
10 of those are good rope material and the remaining five are bad rope material. If you have at least one bad rope material, descending the well would result in instant death.

Good rope materials:

• knitted rope - knitted from the ball of yarn found in your room, using knitted needles which are found under the sofa.
  
• bed sheets - found in your room
  
• belt - found in your father's closet
  
• cord extension - found inside the shed in the greenhouse. The shed is initially locked but you can get the key in the kitchen. You just need to move the stool to reach it.
  
• blue vine - cut the vines using the shears found inside the greenhouse.
  
• rope - using the shears, cut the rope on the swing beside your house.
  
• chains - cut the chains on the bridge using the bolt cutter found inside the shed.
  
• whip - found in the safe in your father's closet. The password is Lily's birthday (072084) - the clue is in the cave. There is an entrance just below the bridge, but the inside is inaccessible due to the flowing river water. In order to cross the river, you would need to place three stones (lying around in the map) on the water.
  
• net - using the bolt cutter, cut the net you see inside the cave after crossing the river.
  
• hair - Get the red knife inside the cave and insert it into the memorial in the greenhouse. Use your shears to cut the hair.

There are also 10 levels in the well and the amount of good rope material you have is equivalent to the level you could reach. Every level provides different endings. Seeing these endings are essential to unlock special events and achievements.

Bad rope materials:

• Ball of yarn - found in your room
  
• Charger cord - found under the sofa
  
• Tissue paper - found in the bathroom
  
• Red vine - found at west area of your farm, cut it using shears
  
• Yellow vine - found at west area of your farm, cut it using shears

There is a trashcan down south where you can throw the bad rope materials. There is also a secret event if you throw all 14 ropes you could collect into the trash can.

"Be unlucky enough to get run over by a car"


This is one of the achievements that you can easily unlock at the start of the game.

Move towards the south-west from your house and you'll see a road.

"Climb down the well with at least one piece of bad rope material"


This is also one of the easy achievements.

Bad rope materials include:

• Ball of yarn - found in your room
  
• Charger cord - found under the sofa
  
• Toilet paper - found in the bathroom
  
• Red vine - found at the west area outside your house, use shears to cut it
  
• Yellow vine - found at the west area outside your house, use shears to cut it

"Create a successful rope with only one material"

"Create a successful rope with only two materials"

"Create a successful rope with only three materials"

"Create a successful rope with only four materials."

"Create a successful rope with only five materials."

"Create a successful rope with only six materials"

"Create a successful rope with only 7 materials"

"Create a successful rope with eight materials"

"Create a successful rope with nine materials"

"Call a phone number Lily shouldn't know"

You need to dial the correct number combination. The number shown in every bad rope ending is the clue for the telephone number. At this point, you should have at least 9, guess the last number and dial it on the telephone. Repeat until you're able to get through a call.

Note: You won't get the achievement if you've seen the endings for all 10 well levels. The best thing to do is to start a new game and dial the correct number instantly.

"Create a successful rope with ten materials and make it to the bottom of the well"

• The achievement will be unlocked after seeing the ending.
  
• Walk to the passageway to the right.
  
• Investigate the prison at the uppermost part and use your knitting needle to get the office card; or
  
• Kill the sleeping man on the coach using the shears. Take his master card. (This will unlock another achievement)
  
• Use the office card to unlock the room on the right and get the ID card.
  
• Go to the elevator.
  Note: Getting the master card is essential because it unlocks most of the rooms on every floors. Checking certain floors will also unlock special scenes for the other achievements.
  
• The top floor is your final destination.

"Kill Freddy Fungus in his sleep. Monster"


Use your shears to kill him.

• After seeing the endings in all 10 well levels, use the telephone and dial the number again.
  (802-426-2313).
  
• If the call scene is the same as on the Unknown Caller Achievement, then it means that you haven't seen all the necessary endings yet.
  
• You'll be able to know what ending you lack based on the number of flowers you can see around the well. One group of flower will grow every time you die, the number of flowers per group indicates the well levels you've reached. Make sure that there are 10 groups of flowers.
  
• This is Lily's Happy Ending

• After killing Freddy and getting the master card, go to the Cyan Floor and enter the left room.
  
• Read the bookshelf at the bottom right. It should be something about the pantry.
  
• There is a chance that the room is different when you enter the pantry. Follow where it leads to then you'll see a cut-scene and the achievement will unlock after.

Note: You can enter and re-enter the pantry to randomize the room. The room won't appear if you haven't read the text on the bookshelf.

Edit: You can trigger the event in the pantry without going to the Cyan floor and reading the text.

"Find the painting"

• This is unlocked on the 8th level of the well.
  
• You'll automatically enter the vent.
  
• Walk to the fan and use your shears.

"Return to Papa after he had already killed Lily once before"

"Learn the consequences of feeding unknown wild animals"

• Collect beef jerky in pantry.
  
• At the vines area west of your house, you'll see two glowing eyes in the dark. Throw the beef jerky in that direction.
  
• Do this repeatedly.

Note: The dark space a little right of the blue vines is where the eyes should be. There may be times when the glowing eyes doesn't appear, if that's the case, or if you haven't seen the eyes at all after a lot of revives, throw beef jerky and it might appear in your next life. Again, do this repeatedly until you get the achievement.

"Create a rope made only made of all the bad rope materials"


You need:

• Ball of yarn - found in your room
  
• Charger cord - found under the sofa
  
• Tissue paper - found in the bathroom
  
• Red vine - found at west area of your farm, cut it using shears
  
• Yellow vine - found at west area of your farm, cut it using shears

Note: You should only use these five. Throw the other rope materials in the trash, else, you won't unlock this achievement.
