SDF Guardian Class Destroyer (READ DESC)

I feel this ship no longer fits in with my more recent builds and lore and as such I will either be redoing it or scraping it completely, this WS upload will remain up but if I redo it a more modern version will be linked here

"As the Protector class frigates began to show their age the news for a new medium combat ship became clear. The aging frame was a relic of past wars and lacked newer features such as jump drives and powerfull weapons. As the SRG began ramping up production on its newer ship models the rusting Protectors began to look worse and worse. The SDFs solution was to create a new destroyer class ship similar to the Protector but modernized to take on new threats. Developed to work alongside the Sentinel class crusiers the Guardian class destroyer packs quite a punch while still being able to outmaneuver opponents. While it doesn't posses the same fearsome firepower as the Sentinel it's nothing to be scoffed at. The Guardians full armament includes 16 artillery turrets, 8 gatlings, and a forward railgun that is the main focus of the ships jaw like structure. In usual SDF fashion the crew accomodations are meager, but still above average for an SDF warship. If need be Guardians are capable of planetary flight of 1g however just barely."
