The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise.

I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself.

"Have you ever heard the tragedy of Viceroy Gunray the incompetent? I thought not. Viceroy Gunray was a member of the Trade Federation so opulent and influential he believed he could invade planets indiscriminately.

His influence within the Galactic Senate was so great that he could even keep his business associates...out of prison.

The only thing he feared was losing his trade license, which, of course, he did. Gunray made a deal with a Sith Lord to circumvent the trade laws of the Republic, but then he screwed up and got sent to jail.

Ironic. He could save others from prison, but not himself.

Thankfully Palp bailed him out on the way there and he never had to drop the soap."

Yes I have read Star Wars Darth Plagueis really good book to quote Plagueis himself"Silence! I am Darth Plagueis your shearer!" that line made my blood run cold when I first read it.
