Modders are all feral cats, but I think there's enough outrage and creativity to sustain you. Start it on your own, then bring others in as necessary. That way they are joining your project

Your mods are beautiful. I hoped the game would look like that when I started playing. I actually ended up rage-quitting like a tween over the new industrial crack shacks. The devs hate PvE players.

i also like to build my ship as close to a real one as posible ..even if i have top take out the back canons and fill the deck with canons, because the devs avved just 6 gunports to a damn BRIGANTINE , instead of at least 10 , that is the difrence from a scooner to a brigantine 1 gunport extra ,and i am trying to do broadside fight most of the time, even if i lose a plank or 2 , and yes u can also kill high lvl sod galleys if u have a maxed out ship and proper canons from doying broadside to it.

Also, the Indaman did play a part in 17th century piracy, but there were a great many other types of ships that were not featured in a movie that held bigger roles. My personal favorite is the lateen-rigged xebec. Shallow on the draft, fast, and maneuverable, this ship was the scourge of the seas and a favorite for pirates and other seaman.

You could get reasonably close with the Indiaman mod, but not with vanilla.
