Meeting potential friends

This is by far the easiest stage. You usually meet potential friends in 3 simple steps:

1) Join a Server.
2) Get shot.
3) Start talking with your killer.
4) Either make friends, or get shot again.
5) If you got shot again, repeat from step 3 (or 1, if you ragequit easily)

Now sometimes, this doesn't work. In this case, proceed directly to stage 3.

Actually making friends after meeting people

This is the simplest part. (since barely anybody does) If you do manage to make friends, congratulations! You are now a part of the 25%! Have fun being superior to everyone else in Garry's Mod! Now go join a Discord with them and immediately butt heads with 50% of the friends you made.

What if I can't make friends with anyone in Garry's Mod?

This is definitely going to be the hardest stage of all, but it will be worth it. At least for the sake of society, that is.

First (once you've read this guide), you're going to need to turn off your PC. I know this may be hard, but trust me on this.
Secondly, you need to find something that looks like this[upload.wikimedia.org]. This is known as a "Bathtub".
Thirdly, you're going to need to fill the bathtub with either warm or hot water and get into it (make sure to take off your clothes first; you can use a device known as a "washing machine" for that job). You're then gonna need to clean yourself thoroughly using soap. You should also be able to find "shampoo" in containers around the bathroom. Put this into your hair and rub it in thoroughly all around your scalp, then rinse it out after a minute or so.
After you have actually cleaned yourself for the first time this year(? maybe decade?) You need to exit the bath slowly and use a "towel" to dry yourself off completely.
This step may be difficult, but it is important. DO NOT GO BACK TO PLAYING VIDEO GAMES. At least not yet. Give it a day or so, you lazy ♥♥♥♥.
Coming to the end, now. Assuming you can dress yourself, do so. I don't mean bed clothes, I mean actual clothes.
What I now want you to do is go and find a big rectangular object at the front of your house with a handle on it. This is called your front door. What I want you to do is open it (or if you can't, ask a parent/guardian to do so for you) and step outside. There might be a big yellow ball in the sky; that's called the sun. Be careful: you can't stare at it like you can in GMod That's how you go blind. There also is no noclip, Physgun, Gravgun, etc. Sounds pretty bad, right? WRONG.
We're now at the final stage. What I want you to do is go walk around until you see a surface on the ground that is green. You may recognise this from some GMod maps; this is called GRASS.
What I want you to do is walk over and walk on the grass. You should also reach down and touch it with your hand, because we all know that the moment you go back inside you won't be doing that again for at least a month.

Congratulations! You have successfully completed the criteria for "Going Outside"! Now go find other human beings, and imagine you're playing on one big DarkRP server with no skybox. Just remember; DarkRP has police and admins. If you go outside, remember that the police exist, and act as if admins are always watching.

Wait i actually have to stop playing singleplayer on gm_construct and play with other people? That's social interaction and i dont support it. Fuck that shit.
