Intro
Hello! This is a guide to demonstrate a solution to a problem that I have had while making music mods, and to give you an idea on how to do it yourself.

This mod assumes you already have HLMWadExplorer, and if you don't, here [github.com] is a link.
Method pt. 1
Firstly, I suggest you replace all the music you want for the mod already, in this instance I'm only replacing the title screen music beams.ogg. But you'll likely be replacing way more music than just one song.

Method pt. 2
Now, what you want is an incredibly small soundfile, it can be anything but I made a small file that is 3.9kbs.

Now once you have a small .ogg file, you replace every single song that isn't used in your campaign/music mod with the small file. This is a bit annoying but 400+mbs of storage being eaten by a music mod is worse.

Method pt.3
Afterwards, you do the usual, export as a patchwad, then merge base wads, here is a guide on how to do all that: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=715132400

Here is a comparison of the sizes of the base game, and this music mod:

Finished!!!
I'm not sure how common this knowledge is, or whether anyone actually has done this before me, but I suggest you use this method to cut down on file sizes/download times... It's really annoying to have to download a 400mb file just to play ONE level, especially since I don't have very good internet.

Either way, I hope this was helpful, and have fun cutting down on your mod sizes!!!
