Introduction and General Tips
Ahoy! After completing HMH2 100% thanks to the awesome guides on here, I wanted to give back to the community via the only thing I didn't see an extensive guide for, and probably the hardest achievement in the game.

Don't sweat failing the first few times - this is a MAJOR difficulty spike from even the Time Goddess Resort level. Your early levels are the ones that matter the most, and it'll take a while to understand the difficulty curve.

Gear up, set your battle song to Last Is Doon!, and set a timer for 30 seconds!
Map 1 (Evil Lords 1 - 10)
This map will probably be one of the most important, as you can easily save a reset or two here by doing it right as well as set yourself up for the next map, which will be just as important.

This is the only part of the game where you should be WALKING, not running.
Start by moving right and fighting the slime, then heading left and spamming Enter, going in and then instantly leaving the village. Fight the slime on the left, being sure to walk to conserve health, and head back into the village. Keep doing this until you have 300 gold. then head back and buy the horse. You should now have your finger glued to the run button!

Head right and fight a slime (or two if you only get 20 gold from the encounter), and enter the left village and buy a herb. Make sure you can quickly buy items as you run past if you're doing this on Hard where time will tick in villages. Head to the first Evil Lord (good ol' Zant) and beat him up - if you were walking, you usually won't need to use the herb and will barely beat him, but be ready just in case. Watch where the next Evil Lord spawns - if it's on the top side, run straight for it, using your herb to keep you alive. If it's on the bottom, grind until time runs low, then head for it. You should only use the cave if the Evil Lord spawns in the bottom right, going around is faster with the bottom left due to mob density. If one of the Evil Lords spawns in the bottom left during the first 5 fights, buy the sword, as the ability trigger will help you do more damage. After the first 5 fights, the shops will change. Only the hat in the top left village has a chance of being something unique, everything else is preset - however, you should probably ignore it no matter what it is right now and focus on just buying the Scale Shield from the top right village. You should be fine with just this, but feel free to buy more if you want to be safer. Evil Lord 7 can be a bit challenging, make sure you're about level 19 or 20. Evil Lord 10 is a pushover however, so feel free to push your luck with time a bit before heading in to fight him. Once you're done, you'll be sent to Map 2.
Map 2 (Evil Lords 11 - 20)
Remember the note in the introduction about every shop selling the same type of item? Well, it's important here, as the village you spawn next to will have a weapon, and this will be the crux of your run. Head in and see what it is - if it has a gold value of above 5000 (though somewhere closer to 6 or 7 is preferred) you should be alright. If not, you'll either be waiting until you can kill the first 5 Evil Lords for a shop reset or restarting the run. Either way, start grinding the elementals nearby, entering and leaving the village to respawn them, making sure to know your limits and healing when appropriate. You can also path to the bottom left village to pick up an herb while you grind. If you need a reset in the weapon shop, start fighting Evil Lords once you're fairly comfortable with your level - the Evil Lords aren't the problem as much as the strengthened mobs will be, but they'll give a bit more gold, so just pace yourself properly. If you don't need a reset, grind until you can afford your weapon and a prayer (or buy the weapon right after you pray). Once you have it, it's time to charge. Run down Evil Lords as fast as you can, trying to avoid praying as much as possible. Keep going until Evil Lord 20 goes down, and you'll be send to the next map.
Map 3 (Evil Lords 21 - 30)
All you need to know here is that the boat is on your left, and there are herbs in the middle bottom village. Path as fast as you can to every Evil Lord, avoiding monsters if you can. Feel free to check shops for strong gear, especially on Normal where you can afford to peek in villages. You'll be gaining money fast now, and investing in yourself before Evil Lord 50 could be helpful. Otherwise, beat up as many Evil Lords as you can and avoid praying, and you'll be sent to Map 4.
Evil Lords 31 - 40 (Map 4)
Things to know: The ship mast is in the tower in the middle of the left side path. If an Evil Lord castle is on the way there, or your castle starts on the bottom, run there and grab the mast. Talking to the shipwright will give you the boat. The herb can be bought in the bottom village, and the boat is the best way to get there. Other than that, hit Evil Lord castles as fast as you can and you should be sent to Map 5.
Map 5 (Evil Lords 41 - 50)
There are two witches who will offer to remove the "fuzzy" and remove the mud for 500g each on this map, one in the uppermost village and one in the rightmost. The former is absolutely worth removing and probably important to make sure you don't get caught when your timer is low by accident. The second is probably okay to ignore if you just keep herbs on you. The real problem of this map is going to be Evil Lord #50 and our old friend, Yashu. You'll need to grind to be able to take him on, or he will send you back even with a herb, so grind to somewhere around level 90 before trying to fight him, and make sure you have a herb. Beat him up for like, the 6th time this game, and you're now halfway there.
Maps 6 - 10
Unfortunately these are still a WIP. If there's any interest in the latter half, throw in a comment and I'll try to get back to it.
