Beskrivning

The KiwiRail DL class locomotives were built between 2009-2018 with another batch of 10 possibly arriving at a later date. The DL class are the most common locos in the North Island of New Zealand, with all 63 of them being based there. They were built by CRRC in Dalian, China. They have a Co-Co wheel arrangement and have a MTU 20V 4000R43 engine with a power output of 3,600 horse power. Currently the numbers go from 9008 to 9688.

Description just needs updating with the latest batch arriving. 2009-2023 and I cant remember the loco numbers off the top of my head but they go into the 97XXs
