A guide I decided to make since I have finished more or less most of the Wads in the Ultimate DOOM.

Sigil.
Sigil is without a doubt the Wad I was the most impressed by seeing how it is made by the original level designer of the original DOOM John Romero, and his craft does show in this addon. Twisted corridors, narrow spaces, deadly staircases with often very little ammo and very large enemies and environmental hazards plentiful, Sigil is without a doubt the most twisted creation yet and captures truly what it means to be in hell.

REKKR
A norse/celtic warrior sets out on a grand adventure to fight all sorts of demonic entities and I will say visually and mechanically weapon feels and play a lot different from what most DOOM players may be used to. An example would be with the bow in the game, which is the equivalent of the DOOM pistol in the game doesn't actually have auto aim. The arrows when you shoot if the target is moving can actually miss the target entirely, so the trick is to wait with some of the weapons until their move animation has stopped and then shooting them for a clean hit. Texture wise I was very impressed with REKKR, this is because I have always had a soft spot for this type of mythology and also because the soundtrack in the game captures this very fantasy themed celtic style it had going for it as well. All in all I would give REKKR a solid recommendation it is worth playing if you haven't played it yet.

BTSX episode 2
I was specifically impressed by episode 2 due to how it captured this very DOOM 64 style it had going for it something I truly had fun with when I played it last year. DOOM 64 is a review for another time but BTSX episode 2 has great texture work, gothic castles and plenty of charm. I would say the level with the best soundtrack goes to BTSX episode 2 I honestly just found it to be very cool. BTSX episode 2 was also the wad with some of the longest levels I had to navigate, It was quite common for me to be stuck on some of them but they were a great deal of fun regardless.

DOOM ZERO
DOOM Zero was a huge wad and the one that I will admit I had some problems playing at times due to how difficult and large some of the levels were but there were plenty of references to DOOM 2016 so as a fan of that game DOOM ZERO served as a nice little prequel to the events of DOOM 2016. It is a Wad I was very impressed with and a Wad I really want to recommend as a fan of that game to people who might not have played it or are considering playing it.

Syringe.
One giant nightmare of levels to beat honestly I will be perfectly honest I think I died more on Syringe than in any other Wad and I think that is a good thing. The wad provides great challenge and yet also gives the player plenty of ammo for the weapons so you feel somewhat powerful but demons are often very plentiful and spaces are narrow often and hard to navigate. Syringe was a blast, this Wad I seriously liked and had just about the right amount of challenge I would say.
