Can't seem to find any copper or titanium ore when using this with Better Deep Scarce Stone... man I wish these would all work together :(

1500 hours in this game and I never realized that. Thanks!

Yes, exactly. SE load order is counter intuitive and loads bottom to top.

Hey, I'm working on something for Space Engineers and I had a question about load order.

Why does this need to be loaded ABOVE Better Stone and Industrial Overhaul? Wouldn't their Override-PlanetGeneratorDefinitions.sbc overwrite the one from this? Or does SE load mods at the top of the list last instead of first?

you should rename it to "a better stone and industrial compatibility patch", so its alphabetical

Can't find an oil sand from IO :/ does it occur like it is or it exists in some BS ore?

@SirArevacoso I was doing some testing, this compatibility mod is still 100% necessary for the Star System Generator to work as people are probably expecting it to (i.e. planets spawn with both mods' ores). The SSG mod only randomizes planet placement -- which is good if your game has tons of planets cached but you don't want to randomly place them yourself.

How to use it:
1. Mod load order (just like 3nc0der says):
- IO+BS mixed mod
- BS and IO in any order
- [Custom planets go here?]
- Star System Generator
2. New game in empty system, in chat console type: /ssg Random 20

Also, just to second what 3nc0der said, even if not using SSG, this compatibility mod is still necessary if using both IO and BS for non-random planet generation purposes -- I only added IO-compatible recipes to BS in that last update.

Oh, and also, this patch only provides merged mappings for IO and BS for the vanilla planet, so proceduraly generated ones are not gonna work, sorry. Should have read the comment more carefully -.-

Hi!
Thanks for keeping me updated :D
Haven't been able to play SE in quite a while now sadly and became a bit out of touch with the mechanisms of ore generation.
Assuming your load order is correct, it might be a problem that the original mods changed their ore generation, so the mapping that my patch provides is no longer valid.
You are free to take my patch and update it, as I'm currently too busy.
I will update it tho, if I find the time for it :)

Hello! And sorry to bother you again :)
Seems like barebone compatibility was added and now the BS ores are fully compatible with IO, and in fact the BS dev recommends your mod for the ore generation. I encountered an issue with the mod Star System Generator. This mod can proceduraly generate planets with the ores in the mods, and it work with BS (it generates both vanilla and BS ores in planets and asteroids). After adding IO and your compatiblity mod, though, only vanilla ores are generated. Any idea if there is an easy fix for that? Cheers!
