If you, like me, have played A Short Hike over and over again (I've done at least one playthrough on Humble, Steam, Itch, and Epic, haha), you might want a slight change of pace for your next playthrough. This mod, which was made by the original developer as a joke (and possibly to test out the fan translation tools?) might add the bit of spice you're looking for.

Go to Adamgryu's Itch.io page, and download "LANG_PoorlyTranslated_v18.yarn_lines.csv" from the "A Short Hike But Run Through Google Translate Over and Over" project page.

Navigate to where you have A Short Hike installed (if you bought it on Steam, which you probably did if you're reading this, you can easily get there by right clicking the game in your library, and then clicking Manage -> Browse local files), and drop the .csv file into the folder "AShortHike_Data"

Mac Users: Instead of putting it into AShortHike_Data, right click on the AShortHike app, and click "show package contents." Then, drop the file in there.

In game, go to options -> language, and pick "poorlytranslated2." To disable the mod, pick your original language again!
