This is the Legend of Sir Swampwater.

Since Elden Ring is right around the corner, I have been struggling with that Dark Souls itch. And so, I decided to pick up my favorite soulsborne game of all time, after Code Vein wasn't kickin' it for me, and revive a character from the grave. My character from my 2017 Dark Souls 3 series, Sir Swampwater.

Old frogs will remember him, and close friends will especially remember him, but this is Sir Swampwater like we've never seen him. More fleshed out, vulnerable, introspective, bla bla bla. I wanted to keep the character, keep the core traits and most of the bits from the original series, but also wanted to create a whole new set of bits and ongoing jokes, as well.

I wanted to make a film out of Dark Souls 3 and I think I may have succeeded? I donno. I make video game videos on my computer its not that deep. But yeah. Uh.... Dark Souls III um Dark Souls 3 Review Dark Souls 3 Analysis Dark Souls 3 is the best Souls Game yeah there it is, yo.

I apologize if any of the lore in the video isn't "correct" for it's, like, my interpretation of the lore, since I like to do that sorta thing, and wanted to tell a story. Like Anri and Horrace fitting into Sir Swampwater's arc in an unusual way that obviously goes against the game's timing, for example, or Lorian and Lothric's backstory having odd story beats. I just wanted to tell a unique and interesting story with the game as my middleman.

This video took me 6 months to make, and almost 750 hours of editing. Yeah. 750 HOURS. That's, like, a lot of time. Like, a whole 1/6 of my time in the past 6 months was spent at my PC editing this. I did not relent. I know no one reeeally reads descriptions but if you are, and see this, please like the video and sub and comment and do all that stuff, or at least one of them, I never ask for it, but this time I'm really feeling entitled due to the amount of soul (haha) and effort I poured into this project.
