Description

When Callonetta - Priscilla's stage name - entered the inn to perform, I thought it would be one of those in-game cut-scene where the character "pretends" to play a tune just to get the story going. I was not prepared for what was to come: a trully beautiful song. I was so enthralled that I re-loaded the game two or three times just to hear it again.

The song is about Geralt's feelings for Yennefer following the events of "The Last Wish" where, to save her from a djinn, he wishes to always be with her. This frees the mage and starts a passionate story between the two, but he then starts questioning if their love is real or only because of his wish.

The Witcher 3 is hands down one of my all-time favourites. It has a plethoria of compelling characters and story arcs, and the most amazing soundtrack by Marcin Przybyłowicz. Even if you haven't played the game, I urge you to give it a listen!
