The Original is a bulky, tan rocket launcher with a metallic tubular exhaust port, metallic and tan handles, as well as a distinctive oversized barrel. It has 4 rockets in the "magazine." The Original does 105-112 damage at point-blank range and at medium range 50-90. With a normal crit, the Original can do 270 damage!

The Buff Banner, also known as the Bugle or simply Banner, is an unlockable secondary weapon for the Soldier. It is a tattered, battle-standard flag mounted on a small backpack and accompanied by a dented brass bugle. The war flag itself – which is rectangular and colored faded yellow with a brown starburst design and moves realistically – remains hidden in the backpack until it is activated, at which point it will appear on a pole mounted to the pack. When equipped, there is a "Rage" meter which when full, gives the player and team mini-crits. In order to activate mini-crits you must do 600 damage to enemy players to fill the meter. Once the meter is full, you will blow a horn for three seconds. you will have mini-crits for 10 seconds straight. The mini-crits add to the damage the Original can do.

The Escape Plan is a melee weapon for the Soldier. It is a weathered and well-used pickaxe. Once this weapon is equipped, it has the unique ability to increase the movement speed of the player as their health is diminished. However, the player receives 90% less healing from all Medic weapons while it is being wielded (healing from health kits and Dispensers is unaffected). While this weapon is deployed, players are marked for death, and remain so for a short period after holstering. Its critical hit animation is a backhanded swing, striking the enemy with the pick end of the weapon. When you have low health and being pressure by the enemy team, you can whip out The Escape Plan and get away as fast as a scout could.
