Realism mod for Mad Games Tycoon 2, includes such innovations as original titles, original logos, game covers, and more. Everything is done independently, even in the licenses and NPC games, every title is reworked. There are other additions, read the description. The manual and mod are constantly being updated, and supplemented with new features. You can add it to your favorites so as not to lose this guide. If you're interested. Adaptation for version 2023.05.15B. Fixed a bug with the additional skill in the legendary employees. Since this skill is a bonus skill, when working in rooms where this skill is used, it will give a random performance effect. Attention
In order for some of the names to take effect, you need to start a new game.
Do not put the mod on a more recent version of the game! It is important. If the game has been updated, wait for the update for the new version. The waiting time depends on the complexity of the update.

Installation Path:

Put a folder "Mad Games Tycoon 2_Data" in the root folder of the game, confirm the replacement.

A simple way to make your goal is to use the way of "screenshots controlled by themes instead of genres". Some chinese gamers re-modified a certain version of Realism Mod and they added this function, so you can download it and use the theme-screenshots folder and add more images to themes you want. you may have to re-programme it cuz if you use their Assembly-CSharp.dll straightly, it'll cover your own dll file. so just do some change to the theme method and test again and hope everything come true

I did it too, but it's too labor-intensive. So it doesn't make sense. I don't want to make "a million" screenshots)

i found a way to make the screenshots of games different between my game and AI's games, by re-programme the method GetScreenShots. Sort of getting ideas from some chinese gamers who modified the game to change screenshots from themes. My mod is not very valid but i think it's a new direction.im thinking of adding a botton so you can pick the screenshot sprite from your disk when youre publishing a game, but obviously it cludes some IO base function which im very poor at.

No, it is technically impossible. Covers are set depending on the genre.

Question; is it even possible to edit/replace picture representation of games when they are done/updated. For example if im making MOBA/RPG game so that final picture isn't of a tank/airplane etc? This was something I always wanted since MGT1. But the pictures seem to not be matching games even remotely.
