Text walkthrough:
This is a simple text guide for anyone out there who can't find out what their DDI version is.

Step 1.

From the windows desktop select start>run (Alternatively windows key+R) then enter 'dxdiag'. Without the ''.

This will bring up the DirectX system details.

You will notice (likely on windiows 7/8) that on the first page it does say DX11. This simply means the OS supports it, what we want to find out is if our GPU supports it.

Step 2.

Click on the DISPLAY tab at the top of the dxdiag window and look on the right hand side for DDI Version (win7) or Feature Levels (win8).

If your GPU supports DX11 it will say so here.

If you are only seeing 10.1,10,9.3 etc etc then your GPU does NOT support DX11 and you will need to upgrade your hardware to play TUG.

I hope this guide is helpful for anyone out there who's confused.

Peace,

Azzy

If you built a PC after 2004, your PC supports DX11.

I have a PC from 2002 and it supports DX11 on win7 64-bit with a shitty video card and 12GB RAM. Come on. Make sure to install DX11.1 and get windows updates, that's what I had to do on that computer to run Final Fantasy 13.

I wish I could actually play the game then. My understanding is that I would need to actually buy a new graphics card that supports directx 11. But I'm still glad I bought the game because it looks very promising and a lot of fun. Im happy to support in any way I can. And I guess I will wait until I can get a new graphics card to play it. :)
