Introduction
Do you have Murder on Eridanos? Then this short guide might be for you!

Hello Spacer!

Tired of continuously finding higher level guns? Having to swap out your armor loadout to keep up with the pack? Modding and tinkering your melee weapons, only to have to upgrade five levels later? There's just got to be a better way!

We are proud to Introduce this guide! Find end game level loot when you are probably about to start your mid-game play! Just visit Eridanos when you are invited to do so and partake of the weapons and armor you find!*

*Sublight Underground does not condemn theft, rather, it celebrates it! Unless it is from Sublight Underground.

The Fine Print

Players gain access to the Eridanos Space Complex (the location of the Murder on Eridanos DLC) after getting access to Stellar Bay. For most, this will be as the player is about to begin the third major "arc" of the main quest line--although for some enterprising risk-takers, the death sprint from Cascadia to Stellar Bay is a viable option to get access a bit sooner. For most players, they can get onto Eridanos between level 10-20, depending on how thorough they are being with game play and exploration.

However, Eridanos was designed to be the most difficult location in the game, aside from perhaps the main story's final quest. The official recommendation of the game is to begin Eridanos at level 30.

This leaves us with a situation enterprising spacers can use to their advantage. Overworld weapons and armor can always be found at their highest levels/rankings. (Container loot levels with the player.) Many items can be easily located on the hotel complex without much, if any, combat or risk to the player.

The advantage--high level weapons and armor can be utilized when going into mid-game, making you more effective and potentially simplifying armor and weapon management.

Visiting Eridanos early is not recommended for players who already find the game too easy, or who prefer to allow natural development of skills and inventory over time.
Eridanos Weapons & Armor Locations
Below are armor/weapon locations players can access early in Eridanos without much (or any) required combat. Get what you like and then leave and resume normal game play until you are ready to tackle Eridanos in entirety.

Most locations will only open after access to Penthouse has been granted.
