Introduction
This guide is for you if you find yourself in this specific situation:
  • You have already completed the final level legitimately
  • You made some mistakes during it
  • You don't want to start over and over until you get 3 stars
If you haven't actually solved the level on your own you really should do yourself a favor and play it legitimately first. It's not even that difficult, just very very long.
You can also consult the walkthrough guide.
Video
Spoiler warning. Close the guide if you haven't seen the final level yet.

Now. You can redraw the final level (relatively) quickly and safely by following the video I made:

You can also download the video file directly.
Better quality too. Hotlink (mp4, 132 MB): https://www.dropbox.com/s/4j6t7lnkvuokfw7/globesweeper_snowflake_solution.mp4?dl=1
How to use this
Hopefully your screen supports 1920x1080, otherwise you're on your own with this.
  1. Start the level. Don't move the globe around.
  2. Put the video on the background in fullscreen and immediately pause it.
  3. The video should now match the in-game layout perfectly.
  4. Press Alt+Tab repeatedly to switch between the video and the game.
  5. Replicate the mine locations with this technique.
  6. When done, let the video play for a second, then pause it again.
  7. Use WASD keys to rotate the globe to match the new location and go again.
  8. Once fully done, simply left-click all of the remaining tiles.
Buckle up because this is seriously going to take a while. Good luck, don't misclick now.
