Enhanced Edition Recipe Master Guide
By CultOfTheVault
Hi all,

I recently decided to do a new play-through of D:OS and thinking about the robust (and sometimes non-intuitive) crafting system, I figured I'd recompile a new recipe guide of all the recipes in the Enhanced Edition.

There are several versions of crafting guides out there that were created back when the game came out but they are all either incomplete or have inaccuracies due to new patches and content. I based the formatting of my guide off of the one created for the original version by Ivra so credit to them for doing the initial work and giving me something to start from. I also scoured a few different wiki sites and did extensive testing on my one of my own saves to make sure almost all of the recipes I listed are correct and work as I explained them.

There are a ton of possible crafting options in this game so hopefully this guide will be beneficial to someone playing for the first time and feeling overwhelmed, or someone coming back and trying to all the recipes.

You will find a link to the PDF version with icons below.

Cheers

I compiled the list into a PDF to make it easier to format icons and whatnot.

@CultOfTheVault Thanks for the info. I'll have to remember that Excel has that function.

@Talongard Thanks! I didn't go quite that far, ha. I just used Excel to format the tables the way I wanted and imported icons from the game files along with screenshots of the icons I couldn't find in the files.

Very nicely formatted. That must've been a heck of a lot of manual work.

I wanted something like this years ago, but balked at the amount of work I'd have to put in to create it... so I wrote up a python script activated through GIMP to do it all for me by scanning through the game files and generating some html. It... may have been more work than doing it manually in the end, but it was very interesting. (The nice thing about this script was that it also worked for mods like Epic Encounters or XC Bags. I really need to rewrite it someday since GIMP has evolved past using python 2 scripts. >.<)

I'll save this and compare it to my copy. I'd be interested in knowing what application you used to create the .pdf.
