i mostly just got lucky with well-timed immunity perks and a bizarre spell interaction, apparently luminous drill's range is directly affected by projectile lifetime modifiers, and the bouncy spells perk gives a mountain of it, so i was able to make a high-damage long range digging wand extremely early

Nice man, i got this game a year ago and i still haven't beat it.
