In order to snipe correctly and properly, you'll need to know a few cod physics first.

In order for you to have the most acurate shot possible in the game, you must be standing still. Now this can seem quite difficult running around on a small map, so the trick is to practise to stop before you take aim and shoot. Once you have managed to do this you will find a significant increase in ur ability to snipe.

Another tip would be to practise your sniping on barrels in a private match before you take it to a public match. This will protect your KD and it wont make you look like a complete noob. Once you feel confident enough with the barrels, try it on a couple of friends and practise with them in a private match aswell.

In order for you to have the best sniping experience, you must have the best sniper class that a quickscoper can use. It needs to be fast and powerful at the same time, and this is why I have come up with a class that can get you started.

Rule number one of quickscoping is to always use a bolt-action sniper rifle. Any others will be considered as a type of spam/over-powered gun.

Sniper Class:

Primary:
Gun: MSR or a L118A
Attachments: Speed, Extended mags
Camo: Any

The reason for the speed and extended mags are so that you can have more ammo (Incase you miss a lot) and you can easily maneuver your way out of sticky situations.

Secondary:
Gun: .44 magnum
Attachments: Akimbo

Equipment:
Lethal: Grenade
Tacticle: Flash, Concussion or Smoke Grenade

Perks:
Slight of Hand Pro
Quickdraw Pro

When you start out quickscoping you will find that your aim is not going to be to great. In order for you to have better aim you might want to dig in your drawer and find a tiny piece of prestic. Stick this piece of prestic on your screen dead center in your scope and when you shoot make sure that it lines up with the enemy you plan on killing.

Also when you quickscope, try to keep the action of looking down your scope to a minimum. Nobody likes a hardscoper, esspecially other quickscopers. Try to practise shooting whilst your gun is still moving towards your screen when you aim. This will make it look like you are killing the person with some sort of special powers.
