press new game if u want single player and if you want multiplayer press host game to host

if choose your submarine depending on what mission you do because if you choose apropriatly mision is going to be easier

choosing class

try out all class and see which one you like also check which class your team needs

before the mission

look troughg the outpost you can steal some stuff if noone sees you and talk to npcs and if you need something buy it assuming you have the money

as captain

tell your teammates if you see enemie on radar and control the ship try to not crash if you crash bad for your sub

as any other class

if your medic heal others and make sure your team stays alive
if your mechanic fix broken devices
if your engineer fix leeks and repair ship

if you get atacked

shoot enemy with turrets

other tips

try to memorize your submarines layout and know where everything is
if you see boss and have a rail gun on your sub try to line up the railgun with boss
