Have you ever searched your starter home for a short-bladed weapon only to find useless kitchen utensils? Fear no more! With this mod, any time you remove broken glass from a window you will get a glass shard. This shard can be combined with ripped sheets to create a makeshift glass shiv! Now you're prepared to make an oh-so-feeble attempt at cutting through the hordes of Knox County.

The makeshift glass shiv can also be attached to a spear for longer range.


Smash a window like you normally would, then make sure you have something equipped in your primary slot (can be any item) and remove the broken glass from the window you broke to get a shard. Tear down some curtains and rip them up for some sheets, combine one sheet and one glass shard for a brand new glass shiv. Combine your shiv, a sturdy stick, and 2 duct tape to attach the shiv to a pole for increased range.

i'm new to modding with pz, and with your other modpack the id is for example scrapwarrior (new version)
is (new version) part of the modID because i'm a little bit confused.

Would be nice to have leather strips be used to mount the shiv to a spear, not just duct tape.

Im surprised this wasn't in the base game already. You already can pick up the glass in vanila, why not make a shiv?

Russian translation needs to be reencoded with Windows 1251. If they show up as question marks with UTF-8 that's fine. Creating new file, pasting translation into it then saving with Windows 1251 seems to do the trick.
