Step 1: Look up another guide
This isn't the main thing I wanna show you here, but if you haven't tried anything yet, look up a few guides here on steam community. There's a lot of helpful people out here and try some of those fixes first.
Step 2: Update your motherboard BIOS
I ♥♥♥♥ you not, after I updated my motherboard BIOS, I could play about a dozen games without any issues whatsoever.
Before, I would literally have to pray that I would be put into a match and then pray some more so I could finish it without it crashing mid game.

Note that you can EASILY brick your motherboard if you ♥♥♥♥ something up while doing this. I would suggest looking up a guide on the internet how to do it for your specific model, tho most modern motherboards have it pretty straight forward:
  • Find your motherboard model support page on manufacturer website
  • Look for BIOS update file
  • Download the file
  • Copy the file onto an empty USB
  • Restart your computer and boot into BIOS
  • Find the update tool
  • Select the BIOS file
  • Wait for it to finish (Make sure your PC doesn't run out of power here/don't force shut it down either or anything like that. If it does, your motherboard might be a brick. Wait patiently for the process to finish. Shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes.)
  • You're done

I know I sound like a broken record at this point, but DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. It's not hard to update it by any means, but you can ♥♥♥♥ up your hardware if you go in with no research and an empty skull.
Conclusion
Hope this helped.

See you in action, spartan.

Sorry if you feel that way.

I put that as number 1 thing you should do because I think it's pointless that I write things that have been written multiple times already and way better than what I would have done.

Why you should actually try some other things before updating BIOS? Like I said in the guide, it can be risky, and I personally would try anything to avoid that risk (albeit small).
