Because of historical reasons Windows still treats the filesystem as case insensitive in many cases (but not all; it's weird) so when game mods don't use the exact same file names and rely on Windows to still overwrite files due to case folding stuff like this happens.
I tried it on a Steam Deck and it's been working great, but a few English voice lines still got through.
It's probably because of a case sensitivity issue in the file name, I'l see if I can fix it later.
I've gotta say though, the few English voice lines I got really made me appreciate the fact that I replaced those WAV files before I started the game for the first time. Such a different vibe!
Now I just wish the English subtitles matched the original lines and not the localization.
My Japanese isn't good enough to go completely without subs.
i put the WAV in gurumin A monstrous Adventure file and it didn`t work
