"Xanthe", the word used, can mean anything from blonde to dark brown. Most common uses include describing lion manes. There's no accurate way to translate this word unless we can ask Homer exactly what he meant.

In the Iliad, he is mentioned having auburn hair. Book I, lines 198 - 200 read "Athene stood behind Achilles and seized him by his auburn / hair. No one but Achilles was aware of her; the rest saw nothing. / Achilles was amazed. He swung around, recognized Pallas Athene ..."

If you could give him long auburn hair in another mod, I'd definitely download :)
