Crowns
HI, this guide is intended for new players who have just started the game and want to advance quickly in the game without dying trying.

(This guide is based on my experiences in the human faction, I don't know what the other factions will be like but you can look for a formula similar to this in your factions ...)

To begin, be clear about some concepts:

- You will receive a crown every 24 hours.
- You can exchange 2500 gold for 1 crown (The reason for this guide).
- Vassal cities add 1 crown per day
(If they are conquered you can get a few crowns, but I recommend the option of vassalage to have a passive income from them).
- PVP give crowns (Win or submit)
- Get Achievements give crowns
- Bugs give Crowns (I'll explain later).
- Crowns can also be obtained through missions.

(I promise you that you will not pay for crowns, the only payment you will make are for visual improvements that I do not recommend due to the amount of bugs that this game has).

One of the characteristics that I recommend when starting your city is that of a merchant, the rest is to your liking and choice.

At the beginning you will be able to see that you have several resources (food, wood, stone and gold) but the main most precious resource is the crowns, you will be overwhelmed by the amount of crowns that they ask for everything but I promise you that in your first 24 hours of play you will have all the stone walls with their towers, porticoes ... and also a Royal Dragon !!.

To get these crowns we should go to what I call the gold race, it is about getting the greatest amount of gold and I will explain all the possible ways (that I know) to generate it and then exchange it for crowns.

By the time you conquer your first city, between the commerce of that city and the peasants that you put to work in it, it usually gives at the beginning of the game around 8 gold per minute, later I managed to generate 14 gold per minute even in some of them. 26.

The first step in which you should focus is on food resources to generate at least an army of 60 peasants, these peasants will all be taken out of the city and you will put them to work in a camp (it does not matter if it is small, medium or large ) and in the tab to manage economy you will put them all to get gold, you will be getting an average of 6 gold per minute, something similar to the vassalage of a city.
(You have a limit of 5 armies, you can expand it up to 10 buying in the store but with real money, it is not necessary, with 3 is more than enough).

There are units like the dwarves that I think have the ability to extract more gold, find out.

At the same time in your city you will have to find a balance especially at the beginning of food (recruit), wood (build), stone (wall and ammunition) and gold, you have 2/3 mines, these mines have a limit so from There, having more farmers working in gold will be inefficient, don't worry if it runs out, they regenerate.
Later you can focus only on gold.

One way to increase this gold is with livestock, some animals give gold for their wool, gold, milk, so it will give a plus to its collection even more if we invest in technology that increases its extraction as well as improvements of beaks.
Remember to increase the storage capacity of your town hall so that you have more gold and resources capacity while you are not playing. (My record was 232 / m).

Every day, as I said before, they give you a crown for logging in ...
(There is a bug that I found 5 years ago but it will surely work because when I return, there are bugs that the developers have not fixed yet ... and that is that if you change the date of the computer, it gives you as many crowns as you sometimes do)

Well, the idea is of those camps that you have made as peasants, you bring them back to the city and give the city all the gold generated by them (and you camp them again).
With that gold plus the gold generated during the time that you have not been connected, you have an option at the top right that says CROWNS here you can exchange the gold for crowns, you have a limit of 30 per day, so you should seek to generate (2500 * 30 = 75K / day), at this point you will be receiving 30 +1 crowns per day AND YOU JUST JUST STARTED THE GAME !!

I have not told you about this but when you are not playing, the extraction performance of all resources is reduced, but even so at least 20 crowns you can easily get with this exchange with hardly any effort.

Now some tips also related to this topic ...

When you do vassalage, I recommend you make an army of 60 peasants and put them to work in gold, they never need protection, those cities that you have in your power will not attack you, in the section of managing the economy you can establish trade (so it will increase the gold production rate) with the other cities in vassalage or with the cities that you establish a commercial link, this is done through the diplomacy tab in each city ...

The send tab will transfer gold to your city without the need to transport amounts of 40k of gold from end to end, instead they will charge you a fee / tax for the operation, it is usually 15-20%.

To have faster access to the passive income of crowns by vassalage, you have a guide to the strength that all NPC cities have, so you can attack the weakest, do not worry if you declare war on a city of your race, The cities function as Greek polis and they will not declare war on you, not even those in their province (the cities that give more gold in trade are Denwall, Dagbor, Pultak that I remember now).

I highly recommend magicians especially in the following order:
- Electric, good for all factions (add enemy upgrades and customizations).
- Ice, good for the defense of your city, extinguishes fires and especially the hail storm to attack
- Good fire for the elves faction to burn the living>: D
Having this information, plan your strategy based on what race you are facing.

They will help you a lot if you bring magicians to conquer the cities, without a doubt you will have to bring a real dragon to tank the blows of the city chief, otherwise it may cause many casualties in your army. If you have a fire dragon, the fire mage can become optional but if you add it to the army even better ...

The strength of my army is 3700, it is composed of:
- 1 Royal Dragon
- 1 electric magician
- 1 ice mage
- 1 fire mage
- 12 knights
- 6 dwarfs with musket
- 1 ram to eat the spike trap damage
- 1 hero
With this army I was able to conquer the three capitals with an average time of 1h approx each ... and playing super safe.

If you want to get crowns "fast", you can do those repetitive missions of conquering a fortress, I used to go with 1 wizard, 1 dragon, 1 ram and 9 knights, in 3m you have that mission done.
If they tell you that it is a rebel army with the dragon, you do it super fast too ...

These have been some tips based on my experience and it is the method that I have found the best for humans, perhaps for orcs and elves it is similar and you have to exchange food, wood or stone (I do not know) for crowns and I do not I'm going to find out about the developers' sloppiness not to fix bugs ...

In summary, your objective is to get through gold and technology improvements, exchange that gold for 30 crowns / day to have a strong army and get a passive income of crowns for vassalage.

I hope this guide has been useful to you and if I remember any useful advice, I will update the guide. See you soon !!

you don't need any fancy units to siege the high level area's and a single siege tower equivalent per wall layer tends to be enough. make sure you have at least 3-4 dedicated healers and focus damage reduction and regeneration on your frontline and spec your ranged out in pure range and damage with a little regen. the most important bit for your healers to to put them on Stand ground stance(THIS IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT) because units in melee combat do not regenerate energy and with 4 or so healers cycling their healing into 2 groups to keep it up constantly on your frontline you will simply wear the enemy down. the archers exist simply to snipe siege equipment on the walls and clumps of units. using this strategy you can finish most sieges in about 20-35 minutes tops. my longest time spent was as orcs because a wildfire started in the castle and I forgot to bring some laborers or wardens along. controlling fires is very important in this build.
