"I took a Colossus flail, made it count as armor (so I wasn't technically wearing it as a weapon), used that as a dupe glitch (weapon reappears in the hall every time) and did it again and again until this! Having 8 weapons is not useful in a fight in any way whatsoever, but who cares?! Also, the presence of 4 armor pieces proves that my weapons aren't using actual armor slots.

Doing this kind of thing yourself is actaully quite easy, but only if you know what you're doing. In the end, it just boils down to changing one value in a save file for the weapon. I simply changed the weapon type of my flail from Weapon to Armor, which caused it to be registered as "armor" by the game, meaning that the game is effectively tricked into giving me another one since I'm not technically "wielding" it. The flails are sticking out like that because a) it looks cool and b) I activated my armor, which causes a similar effect to weapons treated as armor as it does regular armor."
