So you've run into a problem, that's to be expected.
You're likely seeing the objective switch between 4 different objectives without letting you complete them.
Here's some of the objectives you are seeing:
-don't move for 1:00
-don't activate manual power for 1:00

These are just 2 of the objectives that you will likely be seeing.

Alright, I won't make this longer than it needs to be: just go into the upgrades section and stay in it without doing anything for a full minute.

For me it did not work without open the Objective Box on the bottom left
