Voltorb

Voltorb was made for the ExW Pokémon Jam, meaning he was made in a month. He classifies as a Rushdown, being a fast, close-range attacker.

Gimmick: Static
Voltorb gains Static by charging Rollout (F-Special) and cancelling the attack by parrying. If he uses one of his Specials or Strongs, it’ll power them up with bonus damage and effects. The Static charge is used up after one use, though.

N-Special: Electro Ball
Voltorb shoots an Electro Ball forward. If you have Static, you’ll release a ball with greater size and power! Light projectile attack with passable knockback, but this increases with Static.

F-Special: Rollout
Voltorb charges and rolls forward as fast as he can with Rollout. The charged version is much faster and does electric damage, but the charge level can actually make the normal roll go faster than it will on a tap, too. Pressing Parry while you’ve charged to Electric Rollout will have Voltorb store Static, which can be used to power up other moves or as an instant Electric Rollout.

U-Special: Quick Attack
Voltorb quickly dashes through the air in the direction the stick is held. With Static, the move goes farther: but it won’t get rid of Static.

D-Special: Explosion/Rising Voltage
Voltorb takes some damage as he explodes with a big radius. This attack is already very powerful: but, with Static, it becomes Rising Voltage, increasing its blast radius and offense. You can cancel this with Parry.
