Euphoria Build (Alchemy, Strength, Vitality, Toxicity)
Recommended level: 50+ / Total skill points needed: 100+

  • General: Metabolic Control | Cat School Techniques |
    • Combat: Deadly Precision 2/2 | Sunder Armor 5/5 | Muscle Memory 5/5 | Precise Blows 5/5 | Whirl 5/5 | Razor Focus 5/5 |
      • Alchemy: Acquired Tolerance 3/3 | Protective Coating 5/5 | Fixative 3/3 | Synergy 5/5 | Killing Spree 5/5 | Efficiency 5/5 | Heightened Tolerance 5/5 | Tissue Transmutation 5/5 |
      • Mutagens: Greater Red Mutagen 2x | Greater Green Mutagen 2x |
      • Mutation: Euphoria
      • Best with Feline School Gear or Ursine

This is a modified, end-game version of the earlier Euphoria build that’s designed for NG+ when you have more skill points available.

The biggest change is that you should have unlocked 3-4 of your additional skill slots and have more skill points to put into extra combat and alchemy skills for even more damage, which is why we’re using a total of 10 combat skills.

Like with the previous Euphoria build, you’ll want to equip the Metabolic Control and Acquired Tolerance skills and you can also equip the Manticore Witcher gear set to maximize your toxicity before using up to five decoctions.

Or put on your regular gear, and start destroying everything in your path.

      Why This Build?

      • With Euphoria Build you are able to drink 4 decoctions at the same time.
      • Your Vitality can be over 11 000 points.
      • With Whirl equipped a lot of enemies can't get to you (basically untouchable).
      • As much as 222.75% more damage.

      What can i change?

      You can change for instance:
      • Whirl + Muscle Memory + Precise BlowsStrength Training + Crushing Blows + Rend . . . (Fast for Strong)
      • School Techniques depending on which armor you have (Recommend Feline Grand-master)
      • Efficiency ↔ Gourmet or Strong back . . . (If you don't use bombs and are constantly running out of food or storage)
      • Efficiency ↔ Hunter Instinct (Unusable with Whirl - Consumes Adrenaline points)
      • Razor Focus ↔ Undying (For inexperienced players)

Which Armor is the best for this build?

I strongly recommend Grand-master Feline set.

      Other Armors that are suitable:
      • Grand-master Ursine set
      • Manticore set

Or every other armor, but if you want to play with Wolven set use Bomb abilities.

Best Build for Death March (Without DLCs)
Choosing the best build id really up to you but here are some variants you might want to use:

Fast attack + Vitality + Toxicity

Although you are only able to drink 3 decoctions at one time, this is a strong build when used with strong armor.

      Specs:
      • General: Cat School Techniques |
        • Combat: Deadly Precision 2/2 | Sunder Armor 5/5 | Muscle Memory 5/5 | Precise Blows 5/5 | Whirl 5/5 | Razor Focus 5/5 |
          • Alchemy: Acquired Tolerance 3/3 | Synergy 5/5 | Killing Spree 5/5 | Heightened Tolerance 5/5 | Tissue Transmutation 5/5 |
          • Mutagens: Greater Red Mutagen 2x | Greater Green Mutagen 2x |
          • Mutation: None

(You can also change Fast Attacks for Strong and vice versa)

Fast attack + Quen sign + Toxicity

Another good choice for starting player. This build is generally used on the highest difficulties, as that's where you really need to worry about the specifics of your build.
It takes a little bit from everything in Geralt's arsenal, utilising fast attacks, the Quen Sign, lots of potions, and the Cat School Armour for extra damage.

          Specs:
          • General: Cat School Techniques |
            • Combat: Undying 5/5 | Muscle Memory 5/5 | Precise Blows 5/5 | Whirl 5/5 | Crippling Strikes 5/5 |
              • Alchemy: Heightened Tolerance 5/5 | Refreshment 5/5 |
              • Signs: Exploding Shield 3/3 | Active Shield 3/3 | Quen Intensity 5/5 | Quen Discharge 5/5 |
              • Mutagens: Greater Red Mutagen 2x | Greater Green Mutagen 1x | Greater Blue Mutagen 1x |
              • Mutation: None

Muscle Memory: Increases fast attack damage

Precise Blows: Increases chance of landing a critical attack with fast attacks and the damage they cause

Whirl: Holding fast attack allows you to perform a continuous spinning attack

Crippling Strikes: Fast attacks now cause bleeding.

Undying: When Vitality reaches 0, it will be restored with a bonus of 100%.

Exploding Shield: Quen pushes back enemies when it breaks and eventually deals damage.

Active Shield: Alternate Sign Mode: Creates an active shield that restores Vitality by absorbing damage.

Quen Intensity: Increases Quen Sign intensity.

Quen Discharge: Allows Quen to reflect incoming damage.

Heightened Tolerance: Increases potion overdose threshold.

Refreshment: Each potion taken restores health.

Cat School Techniques: Each piece of light armour increases critical hit damage and fast attack damage.

Also works great with Master Feline set.

Did he say this was for beginners? 'Best Build' is never a build for beginners. It's the best build the you can get from the game.

This guide is not for beginners. It shouldn't be in this category.

Great built, but you can also use bear grandmaster armour with protection enchantment and the queen shield will automatically regenerate 8 out of 10 times when getting hit.
