"This was an OBJ file I found on the net and was going to use it for a Blender project I was working on and thought, what the heck, why not try and rig it for SFM. I would like to give the modeller credit for this, but I've lost my original download file and can't remember where I found it. I've rigged it with spinable prop, movable ailerons, flaps, rudder, elevator, canopy, steerable tail wheel and retractable landing gear.... Oh and the wheels roll as well!!! lol

Edit:

I have found where I downloaded the model from. I found it on the TF3DM website. The modeller's goes by the handle 3dregenerator (anything kewl always ends in "ator"). The 3d formats included in the download are obj, max, lwo and mb (for those interested).

For the history buffs, this model is a rendition of an actual Spitfire the served during WWII. You can find history on the tail number here. http://www.fundekals.com/spitfirePlagis.html#

The license on the model is "personal use only" but I will send 3dregenerator an email to see if he'll let me release it to the workshop."

This is not my model, I merely added bones and animations to it. Credit belongs to 3dregenerator for the model
