awesome, i'm trying to figure a way to do it as well, such as ships from resistance, Crysis, ones from Babylon 5 etc

It's all good. Ships I plan on porting from Halo is pretty much the rest of Halo 3's ships such as the Banshee, Hornet, Pelican, Phantom, Forward Unto Dawn and also the broken in half version you see at the end of Halo 3. I also would like to do Reaches, Halo 4 and the new Infinite ships eventually however I am still learning and am very new to this.

The missing textures should all be fixed now. I had to delete and re-upload the other ship but all is well and there are more ships on the way!

Regarding your description, the color is not accurate because, like many materials in Halo games, the color is mainly determined by things other than the diffuse texture (such as specular and environment maps and their associated tints). The diffuse texture itself should also be tinted, as seen in the cruiser's shader tag file (which can be viewed using the Halo 3 mod tools). You can tint the albedo properly by changing DiffColorScale to ( 0.651 0.643 1.000 ) in the SML file.

I really need to finish/release the Halo ships I've been working on porting... I always have a ton of half-finished ship ports that never get released :)
